My Tennis bets have saved my A$$ somehow though, but whatever I win here, I keep losing it in Football.
Anyway, my capping philosphy is that there will be winning streaks as well as losing streaks along the way. There is the short term luck and law of averages at work too. SO It evens out eventually, but as long as we keep our head above water, we should be fine! Having said all that though, it's excrusciating to lose more than a few in a row, no matter which you look at it, you feel devestated. Chin up though, let's keep playing percentage and let's not be tempted to chase (I keep telling me as much I keep telling you) I know it sux when you win 2 Units and lose 5 and temptation gets the better of you sometime, but don't do it!
To the bloody Tennis Picks today:
STARACE over Chardy. Both guys are claycourt players. A bit of a toss of a coin here. The Italian (Starace) is much better player in general. Chardy has hit some solid form over the last 5-6 mnths. I like Starace here though, because of his vast experience and, I think I've said this before, but he is immaculate on the red dirt. He could give Rafa and Ferrer and Almagro a really good run for their money, on clay. Solid player really. The hard turf doesn't favour neither player here, and I am sticking with the old guy. Chardy is a great up and comer but hasn't made a believer out of me yet! Hopefully, doesn't make a believer out of me at my own expense today!
Pick: STARACE for 2 Units. I can't get first set betting yet and I will wait a litle closer to game time. And if I can't get that option I will play him to win the match. But if any of my books offer First Set, then I will take that, as I feel he will be a better starter... I suggest you do the same!
JC FERRERO over Big Ivo
Yeah the Big man has an incredible serve. Yeah he might pass as far as some of his volleyies go too! But apart from that the Big Croat has no game left. I've also noticed that during the past couple of months, his serve has been all over the place. Add to this equation that JC Ferrero is being offered at such a price today, and I can't help but make a play on the better player (imo!)
If Ivo's serve is on fire, then we're in trouble. Period. But hopefully he continues his inconsistent serving percentage and JC Ferrero's all court game should see him over the line today!
Pick FERRERO to win match 2 Unit play
Cibulkova - Bartoli. Another very close call, but I'm giving Bartoli thumbs up here. I've got the option with tabonline to take her to Win First Set, so I'm taking that, as she's been really solid from the starter versus the Slovakian who can take a while to calm her nerves down! Bartoli is at Pick em for the first set. And it's pretty good value. I am aware that most of you can't get that, so I say take her for the full game, if you have no option!
Pick: BARTOLI to Win First Set for 2Units
Risking 6 Units here tonight hopefully the dogs will bark and pay off..... BOL

Yeah mate I thought exactely the same. The Second half portrayed more to the piont what my take was on this match. But we can all be 20/20 hindsight experts now, can't we?!!! But really it shouldn't have totaled more than 27 pts. What can you do after a freakish first half though?!

Like I said to mvp about Santoro, he might win but way way too short to bet on him. It could go either way (what an Einstein I am to "correctly" gues that it might be going either way???!!!!) But not the kind of play I'd make or recommend bro. BOL if you end up taking it though. Also to be kept in mind, Garcia Lopez has been struggling alot lately  |
