I'm back guys, looking forward to the final matches in the Dutch Eredivisie league. I follow this league very closely cause I'm from Holland (Ajax fan).
My first pick will be goals in the game PSV hosting Cambuur Leeuwarden.
It's pretty simple, PSV needs to win their last two games with a great margin to become champions something almost everyone expected pre-season. They have the best squad quality wise but also a great mix of talent and some experienced guys like Guardado, Schaars, Luuk de Jong, Moreno etc.. But, they lost the match of the season against Ajax a few days after their clash with Atletico Madrid. It's a thing that haunts PSV since, they know they need to make up 6 goals between them and Ajax. This home game is the ultimate chance to put huge pressure on Ajax. They are definitely capable of scoring 3,4 maybe 5 goals here. Highly motivated to keep full pressure on Ajax cause they know Ajax is not doing great last couple of weeks. They have a hard time winning games by a few goals and they face Twente this sunday. So, all in all PSV will go in full attack mode from the moment the ref blows his wistle. That's why I like the over 1.5 goals in the First Half. PSV is well capable of out playing their opponent in the first part of the game with the quality they have. D.Propper is suspended which is a blow imo, he can score goals from midfield, has great vision and was in top form. But, their squad is wide enough so now Van Ginkel will play more in an attacking role. Also a player that scores a lot lately so I expect him to do well. Winger Locadia is also back from an injury but I expect Lestienne to start. Hendrix (def mid) is out too but Schaars will replace him. This is the game for PSV where they can really turn up the heat and I fully expect them to do so.
Cambuur is just piss poor to be honest. They are fighting for their lives to avoid relegation but they are simply not good enough. Lost their coach mid season and also their star player and key striker Ogbeche during the winter. They are winless in their last 7 games, although they didn't loose with great margins I really think this game will be their end. They have to win to keep their hopes alive. A draw is not enough so they have to move forward this time instead of trying to defend a point something they did in the last couple of rounds. They only collected 7 points away from home this season, probably a negative record. Conceding 45 goals while they scored 22. This match-up has often been a goal fest in the past few years and now with both teams badly needing the win this could end well for us.
Over 1.5 goals at half-time with odds around 1.75 seems decent to me. 5 units!
Over 3.5 goals with odds around 1.65 for 4 units and 2 units on over 4.5 goals with odds around 2.35!
