If you don't like your Italian squad, why not sell off some of the players. The market for players will never be higher than it is now. All the prices you see will eventually go down as more packs are opened and players flood the market.
That Di Maria is worth more than 200k in coins. You could go on a mega pack binge or have enough coins to buy the players you want.
I pulled a Gundogan, but sold him without every trying him out. I kind of regret that, I want to hold onto as many German players as I can.
My ultimate goal is to get Ibra. With that I will build a hybrid team of Frenchmen that will link with either Barclays or Serie A, just haven't decided quite yet. Maybe itll be impossible to save up and get Ibra, but its fun trying. Ive only played 50 matches and have over 100k in coins (I do admit that I bout $7 worth of FIFA coins that I hate myself for doing) But I knew I would need the players to be able to work the market and build.

Won me a Gotze at auction for far below market. Used him for one match and I aint letting go!!! Guy is a beast! He did get injured though, but still. Was down 2-0 and him and Muller got me right back in and an incredible through ball from Muller to Gotze at the end for the win!
It wont get you rich but you can almost triple your investment of 400 coins is to buy bronze packs and sell off every item. Ive done this 3 times now and have earned profit.

Its quite simple, buy low, sell high.
Understand that early in the game, there is less supply of players, thus the price will generally never be as high as it is now. There will be the law of diminishing returns. EA claims that cards are weighted. So there is far more players that rare common that nobody desires rather than players like Schweinstagger or Ronaldo, players that people want to own.
As the season moves along and as more packs are opened, the prices generally go down. There is a theory suggesting that at Christmas time, there is a market crash of sorts. Kind of makes sense. Suppose that most of the players are kids, and they perhaps desire currency (virtual in terms of FIFA points) that they will use to buy and open packs. This influx of players into the market will only drive down the price.
Anyway, here are a few tips for you.
1. Identify a popular player, in a popular league (Barclays is most popular).
2. Identify his market value. Best way to do this is find out what his lowest BIN (Buy It Now price is) as well as what his current selling price is. NOT what he's listed for. I like to use this website, its very accurate. So follow a few auctions and find out what he's selling for.

*Its important to know that time of day matters. The market fluctuates depending on what time of day it is*
3. Once you've identified a player and his suggested retail price. Try and find him for the lowest price possible and resell and keep re-listing for a higher price. Always account for the 5% tax. And you must understand that your profit margins will never be very high. Its unreasonable to expect that a card that averages 11k, that you bought for 9200 at auction, can be relisted for 15k.
Keep doing this and you will grow your coin. I'm obviously assuming that you will have the companion app on your phone or tablet. Every hour, relist what you haven't sold.
Here are some examples of players I've routinely sold and have made coins from.
Raphael Varane (CB, France, BBVA) His price has since stabilized. But I was constantly buying him for 4600-4700 and relisting for 5200-5400. So each time Id earn 300-400 coins per trade. Id have 5 of his cards on the market at a time. I would raise one or two of his cards higher than others just to confuse the buyer and always the lower priced one would sell. I have sold his card atleast 50 times. That's a minimum of 15k from these transactions.
Nicolai Muller (RM, Germany, Bundesliga) - I find him and pay no more than 650 and resell for 850-900.
Paul Pogba (CM, France, Serie A) - He is the most difficult but I earn more per trade. I refuse to pay anything more than 54500 and usually relist for around 59000. That's 1500+ coins every time.

I heard there is a glitch out there. I don't have time to try it today as Im heading to Oktoberfest, but will report later if indeed true.
But the glitch is in offline games. Get to the screen before the start of the game, go to settings, and change commentary to Spanish. Allegedly it will change the game from 6 minute halves to 3. So if you play a low level tournament, you can accumulate coins in half the time.

Unnecessary. Got anything to contribute? If not then piss off and go make a thread with your hat full of winners

There was an update last night and no fix, so might as well keep riding it out. Ive noticed prices are going down. So, this is still a time to accumulate coins and not spend. Made several mistakes already that have cost thousands. Spent 15k on Aubameyang and now he's going for 12k. Gotze was going for like 38k the other night but is back up around the high 40s. The transfer market is quite odd and unpredictable.
