A good Saturday is hopefully followed up by a good Sunday right? We will see. However I will take my chances and post my 2 sunday plays here in hopes to continue to streak. Writeups to come soon...

Sevilla is one of the normally difficult places to travel to for the Spanish teams, even for Real Madrid and Barcelona, but this season they have started to lose their famous reputation of being a solid home team with only 5-3-4 at home. Still though, they have quality and they’re still a good team – just not consistent enough this season. Moreover, Sevilla just played a double header with Slovenian side NK Maribor in the Europa League in which the progressed from. However, with around 3 days of rest and trying to combine travels/Europa League with La Liga might prove to be heavy for a team that has yet to find their form. Another thing I am critical to is that several key players were playing versus Maribor which should be a handicap in my opinion when they face Real Sociedad.
To make things worse for Sevilla, the defensive midfielder Vicente Iborra (17/1) is suspended. He is tall and physical and usually has the role of a vaccum cleaner on the midfield so that’s a little worrying. Another defensive midfielder is M’bia (12 matches, 1 goal, 4 assists) who will miss the game as well along with central defender Nicolas Pareja (16/0).
Real Sociedad on the other hand are on a European spot right now, but would like to play in the Champions League, and this is their game in hand in order to catch Bilbao who has the last CL spot right now. A victory here means that only 4 points separates Sociedad from Bilbao. The signing of Sergio Canales surely adds a lot of creativity to an already strong midfield, he had a good game vs Barcelona and combined well together with Vela and Griezmann up front, they looked very very synced and impressive. They beat Barcelona 3-1 with probably the best display I’ve seen from Sociedad in years. No injury concerns for Sociedad is a plus, and I do believe they have what it takes to escape from Sevilla with at least a point – if not all three. Therefore, good value is on the doublechance of X2 in my opinion.
Sevilla should be physically torn with a short rest, along with some defensive absences in Iborra/Mbia/Pareja which opens up space for Vela and Griezmann to continue their hot form. Points are huge for Sociedad and I don’t see them leaving the game empty handed _______________________________________
The Swedish cup is underway, a competition where underdogs are golden, but I have gotten my eyes up for Åtvidaberg here who are taking on Jönköping Södra who plays one tier below Åtvidaberg who participates in the highest division of Sweden.
Åtvidaberg are a mid-table side in Sweden, not great and not bad, but a steady middle team. They have done some great signings this season and should be a tad better than last year. At home they are difficult to beat for even the better teams as here is where they collect majority of the points. Eventhough they miss newly signed striker Viktor Sköld, and Imad Zatara along with left back Gustafsson and midfielder Marinho, they are one or two notches above Jönköping in every department. At home, they would like to get off a good start in the first competitive game in Sweden and advance in the cup.
Jönköping-Södra will miss their best player (he is also their captain) Thommy Thelin who scored 11 goals in 29 matches last season, and moreover their next best striker Dijan Vukojevic (born 1995) will miss the game. Additionally, Russian striker Kirill Laptev also sit out this one with left midfielder Samuel Adjei. This is a very youthful team with several players in age 17,18, 19 and around 22, the whole team has an average age of 22.9 years which is low and means that they lack experience. Their captain will miss the game as mentioned which makes them lose leadership as well. They should finish on the lower half of Superettan this season.
In summary, Åtvidaberg plays one division higher and are playing versus a young inexperienced team. I would be very surprised if they lose here, as Jönköping are actually quite awful and under development with their young team. If Åtvidaberg loses here, they will get the dark headlines for sure, however I see them taking game in the end, therefore I play -1 AH. Jönköping might have had a chance if their captian and most dangerous scorer would be available, but when even their second best scorer is out, I don’t see where their offense should possibly come from

Note so everyone understands the "brackets" after I mention a player in the writeups if that confuses anyone
Example: "defensive midfielder Vicente Iborra (17/1) is suspended"
Explanation: In order to highlight the importance of the player missing the game, I put his number of appearances and goals in brackets. The first number represents the amount of appearances and the number following after the slash ( / ) sign implies the number of goals scored in those appearances. This way you can figure a player that has i.e (20/12) is an important player, while one with (8/0) is not a regular player as he has only a couple of appearances - most likely a substitute.

Padree - I almost never play overs/unders because most of the times they are like lotteries, every game has a different face, so it's difficult to predict. I buy the idea that you can predict a certain match picture, but with full confidence you simply can never predict the amount of goals. That's why I never play over/unders

And it's difficult to predict a scoreline for the Swedish game but Åtvidaberg can either take it away, or make it harder than it should and win narrowly which would give me a push, but at home I feel they should easily score minimum 2 goals versus this kind of opposition.

Well, since I am Swedish I know more about the Swedish teams and leagues, so I felt confident about Åtvidaberg but I didn't play it "hard" because it was a Cup game and the first competitive game of the season so it was difficult to know how "rusty" they were after a long break.
The Spanish one, I like Real Sociedad a lot as a team, this pick is based on the fact that Sevilla have been going through a tight schedule while it's a massively important game for Sociedad who need the points.
Hence I chose to play them both 1 unit each and hope for the best.
