Phil Hellmuth is down to 200k, and the ESPN cameras picked up a whole new role of premium PokerBrat tantrum. On an A 5 2 A board, Craig Marquis bet out 25k, and Hellmuth raised to 55,000. Marquis called, and both checked the 6 on the river. Hellmuth tabled K T for nothing but four to a flush, and Marquis scooped the pot with 7 5 for middle pair. And then the explosion began. Hell hath no fury like Hellmuth scorned. "No he didn’t," Phil slammed his fist onto the table. "Stupid mother-f$%*ing guy. He called a raise with 5-7. Idiot from Northern Europe," Phil stormed away from the table, careful never to get out of camera range. He continued to curse the "idiot from Finland" until the floor came over and told him to tone it down. Then he turned his wrath on the cards and the dealer.
While still shouting, he saw a K Q 5 flop, and the BB put in a raise. Hellmuth got even angrier, taking off his sunglasses, his hat, and his jacked to free himself for more emphatic gestures. He stood up and looked into the camera, telling his wife, "I finally did it, honey. I finally got a big pair. All day long I get nothing, and now I get pocket Jacks." While berating the BB for playing his cards terribly (despite not knowing what they are), Phil folded. Then he raised his arms to the sky, beseeching a higher power. "I passed the test, please!" Then looking back at the BB, "I just want you to get punished." Ah Phil, what a great ambassador for the game.
