Getting info from the individual sport forums has always been tough, but with the volume of posters it's becoming damn near impossible.

How about a rule that you cannot create a new thread until you have some kind of seniority here on COVERS?  Either by time since joined or by number of posts (suggest six months or 1,000 posts).

The point is to keep the SAFs and Spammers out of the forums so serious Cappers can find legitimate information without having to hunt for an hour.

Wouldn't mind seeing some kind of voting system that grades posts and threads with likes and dislikes or something like that

I agree in the sports forums.

During college football ten different people will make a thread about one play in the same game and all of the threads before that gets pushed to the back. Seniority/Likes/Dislikes would be a good idea to filter out some of those threads.

Some type of e-mail activation in place would be a start. This is the only site on the net that i know of where you can just join up without being 1.) Approved 2.) Activated through E-mail

Yes, anyone can just go and make a fake e-mail account, but it would certainly deter quite a few people that just make fakes accounts for spamming/bashing that just create a fake e-mail, Username, and password and Bam they are here posting.

grant consent to the like/dislike thumbnails & the likes of email activation.

that'll hamper or get rid of saf(s).

how about if you get more than a certain number of replies in a thread, you get a$400 voucher to use at the Bunny Ranch in Pahrump, Nv.

The worst part about an ignore button though is if someone talks garbage and isn't dealt with by a MOD, then you have other posts replying that don't make sense.

I know when crowK was still here he said that there should be a 30 day probationary forum that you should have to post in before you could join the regular forums, because on a forum where $ is involved, everyone should be checked out.

once a conversation gets off topic or turns into an argument the person who started the thread can delete it from showing up so we all have to sift through it

Within Streak Survivor, give a small payout for consecutive losses.  This would help deter people from "giving up".    Also, post some NASCAR head to head matchups the day of the race.  Plenty of sub -130 lines to choose from.  You're posting WNBA, go the extra mile with NASCAR.

Somebody put Sirjohndrake in a trunk and throw it into the ocean.

Somebody beat BMA until he can't post pics of the royal family.

Maybe control burn the Food/Fitness and Tele/Movies sections as they've been poisoned by BMA. I don't think they will regrow naturally. A controlled burn may be necessary.

BMA, you have 12,452 posts in 1 year. That's 1,000 a month...that is more than 33 a day for 365 days straight. I can't even imagine this. Something is wrong.

You raise an interesting point, expect some sort of bullshit robotic response from him...

some sort of live/aim-like chat feature so you can have an live chat with another member about a certain game / opinion you have.  if possible make it a group chat so you can involve several members at once.  more efficient way to communicate w/o having to hit refresh and hunt for responses
