Ok, first off let me greet my fellow covers brothers! I really have to talk about my situation because the anticipation of the possible outcomes is freakin killing me! Now, let me explain my lawsuit pending. Less than a year ago I was downtown at the dentist. After I leave the dentist's office I proceed to walk the streets. As I attempt to walk across a cross walk a bus hits a right turn in front of me and runs over my right foot. I immediately file a lawsuit against the city (municipal bus). A year has gone by and my foot has recovered. My case hearing is in 7 days and I'm very anxious to what the value of my case is going to be. I read many articles about very similar cases and they all end up with someone getting around 100 grand. Now I know and should not expect such money coming my way, but can someone tell me who has knowledge on lawsuit what i can expect. I mean I want to set my expectation low so i wont be disappointed but what if my lawyer pulls some 80 thoudand dollars out the city because of my right foot. By the way I did have a broken bone and forced to wear a cast for several months. All comments welcome

I mean I assume it was an accident. Did you lose and work from this, what were your medical bills?
