I think i have an idea for an entertainment event in vegas

lets just say this....you know how when you go to the casino to bet on sports, the only way to enjoy what your betting on is to watch it on the tv screens they have?

What i want to do is something totally different.  I want to bring live sports on a daily basis to vegas.  I am not talking about professional athlets, but very good amateurs maybe on the college level. 

.There will be round the clock games and action for you to watch LIVE in a sports arena.

I compare it almost to going to the racetrack and betting on horses.  You are going to watch the live action, not because you are watching seabiscuit race everytime.

I have many many more details within this, but this is just 1 part of the whole idea.

Dont know if your serious or not but i dont think i want this event going online.  It would be something exclusively for vegas.

Basketball.  I figure there can be 5 on 5 games, 3on 3 games and maybe even 1 on 1 games.  Its vegas so anything for entertainment right?...I also could see some 3 pt shooting contests or dunk contests happeneing.  The kids that are brought in for these events would be recruited, so it also would give them great publicity.

There is 1 major detail of this whole thing that i am leaving out, but I am very open to hearing thoughts and opinions.  Thanks

 I really feel like there could be a market for this in vegas.  Between ticket sales, the money being wagered, and the publicity.  An idea like this that has never been tried in Vegas before, could be very profitable.

An idea is only that...an idea.  There are many many more details to this I have left out. 

What if i told you that these players your betting on.........ACTUALLY HAD MONEY ON THE GAME THEMSELVES

lets say each member of a team put up $5,000 with an opponent of the other team..

now as a bettor, how would that make you feel?....knowing that your hard earned money is being invested in someone who has money on the line themselves!?

Sometimes when you watch pro sports you can become frustrated because mid-season a lot of players dont look like there trying there hardest, but when you combine amateur players and $$...the motivation and intensity level changes completely...

I have many more details, but now that ive let this one out of the bag
