d-tv.
Be prepared to get nickel and dimed to death though. Gotta play dirty with them to keep the bill reasonable. I make at least 2-3 calls a year threatening to go Fios so they cut me breaks.
No AMCHD is a major problem too. Scumbags better get that going because I get ill looking at Walking Dead and Breaking Bad in SD.
Other than that, d-tv is the shit. Dish network is pure garbage and the toilet bowl of cable/satellite.

I've been with Directv for about 8 years. My 2 year contract ends tomorrow and I decided to try At&t Uverse this time. We'll see how that goes.
I liked Directv alot but I want to try something new!

Well I must be the minority because I have Dish network and love it. I had Directv but switched because Dish is around half the price for the exact same channels. Plus where I live Dish network gets a better signal
Besides the NFL ticket I've never heard a good reason why people choose DTV over Dish
Why anyone pays more for the same channels is beyond me

think it depends on what you want.
Direc-TV is definately the way to go IF your overall viewing is sports esp IF your buying a "sports package" like Center Ice. Dish-TV doesn't have any MSG teams in HD because they have an exclusive with some NY cable company AND Direc-TV. SO Ranger, Sabre, Islander and Devils broacasts are all only Standard Def on Dish. Direc-TV also shows selected Rogers Sports and TSN NHL games in HD. they are always Standard Def on Dish.
that being said, I went to Direc-TV when they had the pissing contest with the Fox Sports channels and fought fang and claw to get out of the contract because they DO NOT offer a tuner internal Picture-in-Picture and I found it hard to live without. also many of my "default" channels (the ones you tune to when there is nothing on), like History International and Turner Classic Movies, were in HD on Dish and NOT on Direc. also found a LOT of "ticky-tacky tech" with Direc, like changing standard def screen formats and setting up multi recording a re-occuring show, that wasn't as good as Dish.

If verizon is avail in your area it is worth checking into.
Better than all 3 discussed here
Only down side is its about 100 a month for the good package with sports
