We've cooled off a little since our hot streak as of late. Unfortunately, i've been getting heat for my picks from the listeners of Richmond Sports radio so improvement is needed.
Temple +8 -- Honestly, i couldn't believe this when i saw it. Granted the Owls are still Temple and don't deserve respect yet but c'mon. Ohio isn't that good to be getting 5 extra points on top of the homefield advantage. Temple could the extra week to implement a nice offensive package for Vaughn Charlton who has a cannon of an arm. The Owls have the best defense in the MAC.
Iowa State +14 -- K-State is so inconsistent. I know that ISU has been putrid but they've played their best ball at home staying close with Oklahoma and beating their rival Iowa. The Cyclone defense is respectable and all i think i need is 10 points from Meyer and Blythe in order to get a cover.
Troy +17 -- Classic case of an emotional win leading to a letdown performance. Troy is a solid squad and has played well at times this season. Georgia's offense is solid and steady but i have a feeling things could stay close with a chance for the cover.
UCF -14 -- The Knights are a different team at home. Marshall is a terrible team on the road. They got their lone win of the season and just won't be able to keep up with UCF. Smith goes of for 4 TD's in the win.
Alabama +7 -- Perriloux's absence may not seem like much but he provided a few things for LSU that Flynn couldn't. I really like the defense of the Tide to keep LSU in check. I smell a 24-21 win for the Tigers. A play on the under may be made as well.
TCU -3.5 -- Blake and Aaron Brown return for the Horned Frogs who will look to get back to the level everyone thought they were capable of. The team has been so inconsistent but i feel Blake's return motivates the D to their best effort of the season.
Toledo -8 -- This offense has exploded lately and will be no match for an EMU team that just can't score. The Rockets have a slight chance at a bowl game as well.
Texas A&M +21 -- Man, I can't figure this out....I mean the Aggies are struggling this year but their offense has a pulse. If they were smart, they'd run Lane 30 times and grind this game out. Unfortunately i have a feeling they won't and i'll be praying for a backdoor cover.

I'm also on the Temple +8 and ML, but on the opposite side with TX A & M. Frenchy talked shit about OU in the offseason, so add that with the fact that this Aggie team has essentially quit on him, and you might see a monumental smearing.

I'm on UCF and Toledo with you, UCF is an amazing team at home and Marshall has a running back named Chub.
Toledo will give up some points but they will score so much that EMU won't be able to stand the pressure, Toledo gets at least 40 and I don't think EMU will be able to put up 30, they don't have the passing attack to get back in the game if they get down by 2 or 3 scores. UT runs the ball very well and that will keep it from some BS back door cover. Good luck like your picks.

I watched Charlton (Temple QB) play last week......He does not have CANNON of an arm man.......9/13 = 109 yrds is pretty mediocre in my book...........BTW, he had 2 rushing attempts for Minus 11 yrds (-11)......

have to believe there would be same or more production at QB with Charlton otherwise he would have been the starter (or at least more playing time before the injury)
18 sacks in 102 career attempts - possibly he has problem avoiding sacks or throwing the ball away or decision making in general

Charlton was penciled in as the starter before DiMichele took the job away before the season started. Both are solid QB's for this young Temple squad. Im on the ML with you guys

I'm glad you checked in...That one game you saw means a lot compared to me whose watched him in practice and before.
9/13 is mediocre? Interesting...i'm sure there's a lot of teams who'd like that at quarterback. Charlton has the potential....you really gotta throw out past stats when you look at the whole team. There is a winning attitude surrounding this bunch and it will show tonight. Can't believe i got them at +9 on bodog.
If your looking at the total, i kinda like the under but don't hold me to it.

That is a problem and the trend continues this year 4 sacks in 17 attempts. Talent may be comparable, time will tell with rushing, ability to avoid sacks and other intangibles. I've not seen him play this year, hopefully he plays well.

This is definately not the same Temple team as last year. So you can pretty much throw out those stats. The team starts majority Freshmen, RS Fresh and Sophmores. They have been playing excellent D and been moving the ball on O. Dont count them out just because they have a history of doing poorly.

Like Temple tonight. Marshall getting 14 is to much, even though they finally won their first game last weekend. They can move the ball, the will keep this close.

Yeah, that was half the game. Give it a whole game, and perhaps he does 18 of 26 for 218 yards.
Does this mean you're going to be laying the chalk on Ohio? Cus I gotta know...what possesses you to do that? I mean, win or loss aside, what says to you that Ohio should be laying 9 to ANYONE...?

I'm wondering why everyone likes Temple so much. In their last 4 road games they are 1-3 and were trailing 20-3 before scoring 21 in the final period agianst Akron. One of those Road losses was to Army. This is uncharted territory for the owls, who are in a prime spot to come out flat on the road after three straight very physical games and the bye. Ohio on the other hand, is coming home after amassing 990 total yds of offense in their last two road games. -9 is not warranted, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Ohio offense is too much for this young Temple defense. Kalvin McCrae + a Mobile Quarterback(Theo Scott) could spell trouble on the edge. I'm thinking of laying the points with Ohio, hoping for a move back towards 7. Just some input not attacking anyones opinions.

This writeup is a joke. I get no value from a fan who is personally obsessed with his own team to the point that he thinks his shitty D7 school could take on any other college out there. At least act like you don't have temples dick in your throat while typing...

Ah....I love morons like you.....guess what....Temple has a winning ATS this year. So you keep betting against them and i'll keep taking your money idiot.
PS....Purdue ain't exactly anything special either.

Dude you can't be serious. Purdue dominates Temple in every aspect. You could at least pretend that having a few wins isn't the biggest thing that's ever happened to your team. I am all over Ohio. I'll be back to burn some money in this thread when the games over.
