This is my first post, and I wanted to touch on a team I know well (Auburn). First, I don't really like over / under plays, particularly in college. With a number like 66, all it takes is a few drives to become field goals, instead of touchdowns, and you're sunk.
Auburn's defensive line is phenomenal. They have not given up more than 30 points in a game this year (Bama scored 30), and they have kept most teams below 20. Oklahoma has an incredible offense, but Auburn should be able to keep them below 30. They should be able to contain the run and put major pressure on the QB.
On the flip side, Auburns' offense has been struggling. I am a Georgia fan, and we kept them from getting a first down in the second half of our game. This is largely due to injuries at QB (Sean White) and RB (Pettway). Both are back, but you have to wonder how healthy they really are, particularly White. Even if they are ready to go, this is not the explosive offense Auburn has had in the past. Auburn likes to keep the ball on the ground. These running teams just chew the clock. Look at the Wisconsin / Western Michigan over. With a 66 1/2 over / under, you basically need 10 touchdown to cover. There are simply fewer possessions when running teams are eating clock. I think Auburn wants to shorten the game and stay away from a shootout.
