Up until this point I've wanted to say Alabama 23-13 or 30-13 and I might regret it, but Alabama put up 42 against ND and 37 against Texas.. and 22 against an LSU defense loaded with NFL talent and IMO has a better defense than Clemson does this year. They just know how to prepare (11 days or not).
Some will say why bring up National Championship games in the past. I think that says alot because it shows a common result of Nick Saban and his staff and their Championship wins with the same type of talent every year.
Look at Urban Meyer's wins 41 points. 24 points. and 42 last year.
If Shaq Lawson doesn't play - Clemson has no chance. I also saw Clemson's opponents this year. Interesting things I noticed..
Allowed 27 to Syracuse
Beat Louisville by 3. Auburn beat Louisville by 7. Alabama beat Auburn by 16.
Clemson allowed 194 to FSU's Cook.. Henry is the better RB.
Allowed 41 to NC State.. yeah Clemson scored at will.. so their defense didn't get much rest... but they beat Miami 58-0... and I think if Alabama scored 56 on NC State they wouldn't allow no more 41 points.
Plus North Carolina came down to the wire.
I know Teams change from the beginning to the end of the season.. just look at Ohio State losing to VT (last year) and Bama losing to Ole Miss this year.. but Saban won't let his team get "big headed" and Watson will face a type of defense that is on another planet - a defense that he has never seen before.
In conclusion, I thought Texas would beat Alabama and could have if McCoy stayed in. I thought LSU would beat Alabama 13-10 and I thought Notre Dame would keep it close. Which means I'm probably wrong about all this. Just my thoughts.

Won't make a difference, but I still doubt he will be 100% and his first stiff arm from Derrick Henry will send him back to the sidelines.

Miss st had a better performance against NC state than Clemson did... Check the box scores, it is actually kinda funny.

Watson actually said that Bama will not be a challenge, and Boston College has a better defense... That tells you the mindset of this guy...
