Should be a great game tonight but all I keep hearing from people is that "Temple is a sucker bet" and they have played a soft schedule and won't be able to keep up with the offense powerhouse that is ECU. Give me a break! When did ECU become an offensive powerhouse? Last time I checked their QB had 10tds and 6ints.
ECU is a 4-3 team with wins over Towson, Virginia Tech, SMU and Tulsa. The fact that they played Florida and BYU tough is irellevent because Temple is a different type of team than Florida or BYU. First off Temple is the toughest defense that ECU will have seen this year and that includes Florida. Temple has a rushing attack that will be extremely difficult for ECU to stop and will also allow them to control the time of possession and limit the amount of ECU possessions.
Too much is being made about ECU being favored by 3 but in reality that is right where the line should be. Temple has not played an overly tough schedule and ECU is at home so -3 makes sense. But to anyone who has watched a lot of Temple football this year (and I have) you will realize how good this team really is. I won't go as far as saying they will beat ND next week but I do think they win outright tonight. This is a legit team that plays physical football and will surprise a lot of people tonight.

More upper classmen, more physical, better against the run and have one of the best pass rushes in the country. Florida may have better athletes but I believe Temple is a better overall D. Not to say Florida isn't solid as well because they are. Teams that have a pass rush like Temple though have a chance to win on any given week.

I work a lot man and travel for my job. Don't have a ton of time to post but doesn't mean I don't have insightful things to say. I've been gambling for quite awhile. You are welcome to read previous MLB posts. I always have Writeups with my plays. If you're weary then I suppose you are entitled to your opinion

This is a revenge game for ECU as they lost to the Owls last season despite outgaining them by nearly 300 yards. ECU had an edge in first downs of TWENTY but it was EIGHT fumbles on the day (5 of those resulting in turnovers) that ruined the day for ECU.
Temple comes in with 6-0 record and ranked for the first time in 36 years. That is keeping this line off of where it should be and I'll grab the value with ECU Head Coach McNeill who has a 6-1 ATS record when seeking revenge.

with you here, we are against some really nice talented cappers on this site but I only tail myself, always have
hopefully we aren't running into traffic here
I can see why the talented cappers would be on ECU. Based on the situation it certainly points to ECU being the play. I still think that Temple is one of those under the radar teams that people are reluctant to back because their success this year was so undxpected and their history has been pretty subpar to say the least. But they have a solid coaching staff and a veteran team which is why I like them. They definitely won't be intimidated tonight.

Have ECU but agree the Temple D is solid. Less then 3 yards per carry , less then 50% completion % less then 15 points a game .. In the end I think its Temple's lack of a passing game that give East Carolina a slight edge.... 28-23 ECU
But can see and actually hope Temple pulls it out ... Nothing would make me happier then to go to Temple Notre Dame next Saturday night with it all on the line

account name "SharpStatsGuy"...with the squarest play on the board.
Square plays win too my friend. The sooner you learn that the better gambler you will become. I cap a game based on what I see. Sometimes I use stats but In this case it is the eye test from watching a lot of Temple games this year. Square and Sharp play opinions literally mean nothing to me

Good Luck brother, I enjoy reading your threads
if ECU would have been dogged by a touch then I would have looked into them but favored by 3 was incorrect
