Been scrolling the posts and not seeing anyone on BYU or Mich.??? Packers, thought for sure you would be on it! Now I'm a Mich fan (for life) and just cannot see Mich winning this game by more than 4 points. Jumped on BYU Wednesday night at 5.5 when Stations dropped the line to 5 and Sportsbook.ag dropped to 4.5, then wham, up to 6.5 and 7!! WTF!!
Michigan has a good D and should limit the run, but the secondary really hasn't been tested yet. BYU's 6'6", 6'5", and 6'4" WR's should really cause trouble and test this secondary.
Michigan's offense has been very vanilla. Both NI and UCLA ran up over 500 yds on UNLV, not MIchigan. Rudock hasn't completed a pass over 28 yds this season. The Mich O-line is still average.
BYU has a passing game that moves them down the field. Their D has 7 int's already.
BYU has been in all three games late in the game and beat Boise, and look what they did last night!
Way I see it; The only way Mich covers this spread is if
1. BYU shoots itself repeatedly. (shouldn't happen with disiplined team)
2. Mich's J. Peppers explodes in the punt return game or is used on offense. This young man is the only difference maker UM has. (betting he doesn't get used on O, BUT, ruggby style BYU punts do leave some concern)

CBs should be fine. Lewis is a beast, he has defended well against taller receivers, has 7 pass break ups and leads the B10. Stribling is 6'2 and Jeremy Clark is 6'4 and both have improved tremendously. Peps is lined up everywhere and he hasn't played a great game since Utah so hopefully he shows up big today.

I'm actually hoping Mich wins by 3 or 4, but just can't see it. Noticed you didn't mention UM's offense. Their weakest link.
I can see BYU starting out with short passing game and early scores. (UM seems to give up early scores) If BYU gets a double digit lead and UM has to play catchup the game is over, IMO, for UM. If BYU falls behind early, they have the better ability to play catchup. Believe UM wants/needs to keep it close and grind, grind, grind. So, I have to take the points as it seems if UM wins it will be very close.

Money is coming all in BYU line moved up and unreank team favorided over a rank team. Michigan Rolls today
Confused by wording....
Line opened at -4 and within 2 days it moved to -6.5/-7. Public all over Michigan. Most wagering is done last 2 hours before kickoff. If you see it move at that time back towards -4, I would be concerned if you're a Mich backer.

BYUs QB has a ton of talent but still wet behind the ears. He has a tendency to make bad decisions, which is not a huge surprise. His biggest plays have been broken plays. BYU gets down the field but the offense then stalls and they out it on this kid to make throws. Not very accurate. Remember BYU is a run first team. I think Michigan will load the box and make this BACKUP QB beat them. Thats right you forget he wasn't the starter. Like I said I think he is good but still has a lot to learn. He isnt scared to sling it after throwing INTs for sure. I take the better coach against a team that has already played three tough games, 2 of which were on the road in tough environments. Nebraska had them dead to rights if it wasnt for a hailmary that BARELY got to endzone!

Line is pretty high. This game will be a grinder most likely. BYU's defense has played very well and Rudock is still getting use to the offense. Under is probably the best play.
