So
long story short…I just found out that my C.C. had a fraudulent charge on it.
Thing
is…is that I buy $20-$30 of gas every couple of months (at my friend/neighbors
station) just to keep the C.C. active and so it’s not closed because of
inactivity.
I
wanted to try betting outside of my locals online for NFL so I shopped around…
finally went with 5D.
So
I went through their funding process w/ my banks… and one time I tried my C.C.
and it was declined…but of course they had all my info.
My
C.C. blocked my card from over 2K off other online transactions so whomever that
scumbag(s) is the were really going for the gusto.
I
AM 100% sure that someone inside that organization stole that info and sold
it/used it whatever illegally.

I've experienced cases where after a deposit I tried to put in was declined that the sportsbook goes and "attempts" the card again (without my permission) to see if it would go through. They don't process it, then they call me back and say "we have another processor that should work" and I either give the go ahead or not.
I know they've done this because I've used my debit many times and the online banking shows these transactions as "pending/processing" but they never end up posting to the official balance and they disappear within a couple business days. Just wanted to give you another perspective to what they might have been trying to do.

I had my first 5d deposit blocked, because my bank had flagged the processor I think. But it was easily fixed. I think the OP is stating after his deposit attempt, there were fraudulent charges made on his account. To this I say, if you use your credit/debit card enough on the internet, eventually this might happen.
It's happened to me a couple times over the years, nothing as high as $2k though. Easy enough to fix with a phone call or two to your bank though. Although, that usually means having to be issued a new card, which is a minor hassle.
Blame is probably on the payment processors, or perhaps spyware on your cpu that snatched the card numbers.
Hopefully you get it sorted out with no major issues.

Can you give a little more detail? What country were the charges in? Etc.
the charge that actually went through was for something in the cell phone industry...based out of OR ... nice people... looked into it real good for me.
the other attempts were ecommerce but my CC Co. bloacked those transaction

Why would you give a credit card or debit card to a company that you've never been to before.
Prepaid cards - look for ones that are approved - or use western union with a card. Just tell them its cash they wont know the damn difference.
I guess because I'm a moron.. Like i said I did research and figured them to be the best...didn't even think of a prepaid card...never bought one for anything.
all my sh!t is protected so nothing came out of my pocket and i knew that anyway so i just went w/ it

I wouldnt say it makes you a moron. I'm just saying its a company in a foregin country that you have never been to and cannot verify the integrity of the people they hire, you also have no way of verifying who can see your cc number etc. Better to protect yourself.
Its good that all of it got blocked by your bank though. but yea next time i would go with prepaid. Credit card authorization forms and all that crap is asking for trouble.

thanks...the bank transactions were OK but the one I tried w/ my CC is where the issue came from... i tried it - wouldn't process...i called them...they told me to call the issuer and i said F' it ..i have enough cash to play with. Was trying to stack my nfl bankroll
i only use this car for gas so no other place online ever had the info and my network is secure
someone on their side tried pulling a fast one.
i just wanted to get the word out in case it happened to someone else / and to let people know it's not the best way to fund your online account.
