Where do you see 31? I use 5 dimes. Line is not even up. I checked Vegas Insider and I don't see any line up neither. Said It opened Liberty at -2 and the only offshore that had A line was Bookmaker at Kent -11.5. Weird stuff going on. I know this... Kent -7 is stealing!

the kent line is not up currently at 5D and neither is the samford game.
anyway,
this is a complete mess right now with various games. multiple ones
have gone OTB in the last hour. rogue lines (whether they're eventually
called 'mistakes' or not) just mess with the market and hurt consumer
confidence.
it's a very tired act already, some of these so
called 'linemakers' need to be canned already. the only thing that's
going to happen in many (but maybe not all?) of these cases is a bunch
of cancelled wagers after all the hoopla. then the customer service
nightmare begins where the trust between the player and book further
erodes.

Obviously, Kent should be favored by something like 17 to 21 points. Bookmaker and 5Dimes both put out ridiculous numbers. What are you going to do? They want you to bet their numbers, or they wouldn't put them out.

This has been a very strange pre-season for the "college extra" portion of the board. I don't know what the hell is going on. Delaware was -12, then -14, then +6.5, then a pick, and and last I saw the Hens were -3 (which sounds like a gift, if it's real). The Wagner game has done all sorts of gymnastics, and now this game. The problem with "loading up" on lines like Kent -7 is that you can only lose. If Kent wins 38-13, they're not going to pay you. If they win 14-10, they might keep your bet. That's a fun place to be in. Lots of movement in other games involving 1-AA teams as well, though nothing that looks so out of whack that they don't figure to pay it. There must be something going on behind the scenes, as you could use the freaking Sagarin ratings and get within a couple of points of "real," so there's no excuse for lines that seem to be several touchdowns off.
