and A&M is over rated...that is not anti A&M bias from a Texas grad...that's my perception of their Defense...everyone has gotten so into Johnny F, they have forgotten how marginal A&M' s D was last year (see Ole Miss and La Tech).  If Johnny F can at least be contained, an agressive opposing OC will score many points on A&M.   Had Bama not been so arrogant and started passing consistently early in the game, that would have defeated A&M by 2 TD's.   A&M only has 10 returning starters.   I would ranking A&M no higher than 10 or 11...

offense will be insane

2 nice tune-up games to start the season vs Rice and Sam houston st before the Tide come to town ....

would love to see the Aggies catching a TD + at home sept 14th vs Bama

A&M only has 4 road games this season

at Arkansas

at Ole Miss

at LSU

at Missouri

sure they could lose 2+ games this season , but they could alos beat bama again

A&M's D played well against an "overrated" OU team in the Cotton Bowl because they could pin their ears back since they could take risks knowing J Manziel would score points.   Like they say in round ball, J Manziel will make plays.   You know A&M's O has been good for the last 3 to 4 years even before Manziel, it was the D that was their Achilles Heal that could not enable them to hold a lead even after putting 30+ on the board.   Bama is going to dominate A&M at Kyle in week 3.    I personally believe that Bama has a more consistent O, and I believe they will somewhat unleash McCarron against a traditionally weak A&M secondary, then pound them with Yeldon to speed up the game.  K Smart and  Bama will contain and frustrate Manziel.   I guess th only concern/risk I have with Bama is that A&M get's them in week 3 at their house.  If this game were in late October to late November, Bama would truly roll.   I think it will be a close game for 3 quarters with Bama pulling away in the 4th.   I think the spread will be Bama -6.   After blowing out their first two opponents, A&M will have a lot of backers so the spread will be reasonable.  I think Bama will easily cover.    But, I also thought Stoops and Co would give them a game last year, and that did not happen, so what do I know...

and wow, no Oklahoma, probably for good reason.  almost completely new secondary with 2 starting spots going to JC transfers.    i think OU could be highly variable.  they could have an outstanding bcs type year or they could be 7-5.  I like my Longhorns chances this year, but in typical Mack Brown fashion, Texas will come in as 7 point favorites and probably lose to a superior game day coach with Stoops...

Double - what are your thoughts on Oregon?  I have heard their only ? on D are the LB's?   I like Oregon in week 3 at Auzen against Tenn.   Oregon has been girl slapped by "more" talented SEC teams.   I think they will inflict some "weed" induced payback on a 2nd or maybe 3rd tier SEC team at home and cover what I have capped to be about a 17 point spread...your thoughts?

The Sooners have a Brutal schedule IMNHO   7-5   or maybe even 6-6 ?????

Bob will need to catch a lot of breaks win 9+ games

With my Current win %

ULM   92%   might not be a Gimmie ?

West va   77%   anything can happen this early in the season with teams that are going through major changes at key pos .

Tulsa 84%     just do not enough yet !!

at Notre Dame 33%   nice spot for Sooners if 7+ Point Dog ... coming in off bye week ... maybe they win out right or just lose by a FG ?

TCU  50%    Just a coin flip with RRR vs Texas on deck

*Texas  36%     like horns much better than OU , but anything can happen in this match up

at kansas 95%

Texas Tech  80.5 %

at Baylor  44%   bears could be much better than people think ..

iowa St  87%

at Kansas St 27.5%    just dont see a W in this spot

at Oklahoma St  23%    Cowboys are my TOP rated BIG12 squad

DUFL - I agree with your assessment.  They do have talent at RB, but that can be negated by the better teams.   Of course P Steele already has them near the top 10 in his prelim rankings.  I just don't see it, at least not this year.   Maybe 2014, they will be back with M Stoopes in his 3rd year at DC.
