5 Dimes currently has Bama at -24.

Is Bama a good bet at that price?

If not where do you think the # should be.

Thanks for your input.

opened on 5 dimes at 21.5 ??? now upto 24....

i know they set a $100 max right now ...

I Like +24 my current numbers have +20.5 , would not put more than $50 on this ... and will pass with the current -120 juice

Hey Double, Good to hear from you.I saw it up there earlier
at - 18 1/2, next time I looked it was -24.
I don't see much value on Bama at that price, but it's early.
Best of Luck, bud. Thanks for stopping by.

well wiseguy i'm not a va.tech guy but that line will be just too jicy for me to pass up. Remember bama breaking in a lot of new O-Linemen in a dome for game 1. Bama wins but i think Va.Tech covers.

Hey wiseguy how is Hawaii looking in year 2 of Norm Chow

Hey Pack, The Warriors will be improved in the team's second
year in Norm's system. I believe they need one more year of
recruiting for significant improvement however.

Thanks bud. Do you have an early read on Wisky's development?
I'm wondering if the players are picking up on the new offense, and
if they're going to be a scoring machine this year.

Well wiseguy i'm not a badgers fan but Anderson for the most part is keeping alot of the Wisconsin regular offense. The big key is to make Wisconsin a halfway decent passing team. Basically can they be the 60th best pass team in the country? Wisconsin will never get in the shotgun and throw 50 times. i like that Anderson is like hey the wisconsin offense works lets tweak it a little bit in terms of passing and we're good to go

That's the sign of a great coach. Anderson will do well in Madison. They didn't a home run with the hire i think they hit a grand slam. I'm not being an a$$ but it seemed like the last few years Georgia Tech is a better pass team than Wisconsin

I think that if they were a more balanced offense , it would help
them a lot in an increasingly competitive Big 10 conference.
Russell Wilson gave them a glimpse of what they could be.I don't
know if they have a QB on the roster that will make their passing
game a bona fide threat to big 10 defenses.

5 Dimes had UGA at + 3 1/2 vs Clemson, now it's down to + 2.
I think even though UGA lost many defensive starters, they
should have a slight edge in this game.

wiseguy this is just my opinion but i think Clemson destroys Georgia week 1. Georgia has been the biggest fraud in college football in the last 3 years. If you gave South Carolina Georgia's schedule the last 3 years South Carolina would've won 2 SEC titles. Georgia Pissed away a chance at a national title vs Bama. And if that Clemson -2 line stays as is i will have a max play on Clemson week 1

Just my 2 cents though

boom, I think we're saying the same thing as I was quoting
the Georgia side of the line at + 3 1/2 , to make my point
that I'm surprised to see UGA getting points in this matchup.

Pack, I think both teams return plenty of offense. It's the
defensive side of this matchup that concerns me.

which is implying the money is coming in on Clemson

Wiseguy I projected this line to be as high as Clemson -7

IMO..... Clemson wins this game at least 10 points

Something like 38 - 24 maybe

Sorry, I didn't finish my point. ( It's still early out here ).
UGA has lost many defensive starters while Clemson's
" D" still gives up too many points vs " second Tier "
ACC teams. I'm giving a slight edge to UGA.

Clemson defense will actually be pretty good this year. Alot of returning guys and a DL that will be impressive..whereas Georgia lost a TON on that side.

Yes both offenses IMO, are among the 2 best in the country you have to look at it like this.

If both offenses are equally good or the same, wash that side out.

BUT, Clemson WILL be better on the defensive side of the ball and will be playing at HOME where Gameday will be.

I think Clemson has a chance be undefeated going into the S.C game where S.C could be too.....

I don't believe I said it "opened " at any #. When I looked
yesterday, the line was as I stated UGA  + 3 1/2 when I
checked it later in the day , it was UGA + 2. My reference
was pointed to that.If it opened at Clemson at - 2, then it
would imply that money is coming in now on UGA wouldn't it ?

Wiseguy............ I just copied and pasted this...

Clemson -3.5 vs. Georgia: A couple of big-name passers square off in Clemson, as Tajh Boyd and Aaron Murray lead two projected top-15 squads. As the line indicates, this one has the makings of a tight matchup.

According to SI.com, The line has moved for Clemson against Georgia in Death Valley from its initial spread of -2 to -3.5.

Boom, Thanks, I agree completely that this will be a close
matchup offensively, with questions remaining on defense
for both teams.I do not know how UGA's new starters will perform
nor do I know if Clemson's defense which gave up 48 to a very
average NC St. team has solved that problem yet.
For me this will be a game that I will pass on
Best of Luck in this one
