Does anyone have any information on how teams respond when their head coach leaves before the bowl game?

it varies, probably a coinflip historically because its built into the spread,

some teams relish in it because they wana prove that theyre good even without their coach,

some teams who have a lot of seniors play well because they play for each other,

other teams with younger players tend to get distracted because the players are thinking of transferring or who the new coach is gona be, etc etc

very hard to tell, its pretty much case by case
