Sup guys. Two games I absolutely love this weekend other than Bama and under are Northern Illinois at home laying 35 to a horrid UMASS team and Stanford -27.5 on the road vs Colorado. Now I don't know what you guys know about NIU but this is a very very good MAC team with a legit QB in Jordan Lynch who has passed for over 1600 yrds and rushed for over 1200. I'm at work right now so I don't have much time to get into the specifics of the UMASS team stats but just look at what Vandy did to them last week at home. UMASS second game back to back on the road going into N Illinois vs a solid team on both sides of the ball. I have been betting on NIU the past 4 weeks and they have been money every week and I don't see it stopping in this one at home vs UMASS a very subpar NCAA football team. NIU didn't play well last week, had several penalties which ultimately led to W Mich points on the board. But at the end of the day they still won by 14 covering their 8 pt spread. Lynch should demolish this team at home and show no mercy. I'm not sure if UMASS scores more than 7 on that defense too which is prettt damn solid! NIU should score at least 48 to a UMASS 7-10 at the highest IMO. Thoughts? Anybody watch both teams play this year in detail? If so pleasetell me how UMASS covers because I want to pound NIU large

Also Stanford has a great defense with a great running game. Long story short I think fading Colorado here is a must. Not sure how they score. I can see a 28-0 shutout here by Stanford as they run the ball against that porrous CO defense and control the clock. As long as Stanford doesn't turn the ball over they should cover here even with the large road chalk its still CO. Thoughts? These are my top plays of the week and Bama -9 is next. Love Stanford and NIU this week. Both have terrible opponents with bad efenses

JFen I respect u by the way. But no I actually think Stanford can blow them out38-42 to 0-7. But bare minimum I see is 28-0 if Stanford struggles a little bit with fumbles and such. Get me? I dnt see CO covering in the worst case scenario basically

Their kicker misses 3 field goal. They get stopped 4th and goal at the 1 and then give up garbage time touchdowns. oh shit my bad that was la.tech last week. Its college football and anything can happen

lol Trauma, LT cost me last week too...those bastards.
But ya, who knows the mindset of the Buffs after getting mauled each of the last three weeks by worse scores each time. I think 28 points is a lot for a team like Stanford just because I dont think Shaw will look to run the score up, unlike the USC's and ASU's (I dont count Oregon in there, because they called off the dogs at HT...just so happened it was 56-0 at HT).
Stanford will dominate the LOS on both sides of the Ball, CU will have a very hard time sustaining drives. The Buffs don't even know who they are going with at QB, neither potential starter has impressed. I only expect 3-13 points from the Buffs, barring turnovers or good ST play (laughed at myself typing that...)
Stanford should cruise to 35 or so points, and if they get up early I expect the boo birds to rain down. 27.5 is a good line here, anything more I might be weary of the backdoor cover...
in any case, BOL

Yea I can see a backdoor in the Stanford game tho most definately. And their offense isn't the type to be explosive an just pile on points. I may hold off on the Stanford line even tho I still like it. What about Northern Illinois tho guys? Any opinions? I truly think this is one of the best plays on the board here. It's a large line but for good reason. Jordan Lynch is a BALLER in the MAC. They have been killing all of the teams they are supposed to and I just don't think this UMASS team after getting wacked by Vandy will be able to hang with Lynchs running/passing game. I may make that my only play for the week for 500

Johnny I think that could be an accurate score. Stanford's offense is good just not extremely explosive. That's why I think they have long sustainable drives with Stephan Taylor getting 22 touches 190 rushing or so. Nunes throws for 200 and CO has 2 TOs giving them good field position for short scores. I will do more research on these two games more tonight and up until Sat but I like both these plays

I live in the Chicago area and I have been on NIU for a couple weeks. Cashed in on them against Buffalo and last week vs Western Michigan. According to my records, NIU is 8-1 SU and 7-1-1 ATS and they are riding a 5 game SUATS winning streak. UMass is 0-8 SU and 2-6 ATS and they are riding a 3 game SUATS losing streak. These are 2 teams headed in opposite directions!
NIU came out a little flat last week on defense in the first half against WMU, but exploded in the 2nd half and then held on for a 14 point win. WMU is the one common opponent. WMU beat UMass 52-14 in Kalamazoo so I'm not concerned by the spread. My only concern is NIU has Toledo up next and could very easily look past UMass. I would take NIU -35. Look for the final to be 63-14.

Firebird good info man I appreciate that. I think its a possibility they may look ahead to Toledo since really that's one of the best teams on their schedule but I just don't see UMASS being able to compete for four quarters in this one. Back to back road games coming off a bad beatdown going against Lynchs offensive attack. It could only be close for so long IMO. I will be laying the points definately just trying to figure out how much and what the line does. Opened at 35 then went down to 34.5. I wonder if its just Vegas inviting more action?? Or do they smell a backdoor cover?? I don't see UMASS competing tho I really don't
