#1 Posted: 10/2/2012 2:09:59 AM Best spot play on the board this week IMO is fading New Mexico. Those kids played their hearts out last week at home, down 25-0 at the half and came back to within 3 with 8 minutes to go. They left everything on the field (more importantly emotionally) and had a chance to tie or win it late. Talk about a heartbreaking loss, I don't see how they come out with anything going from a near miracle comeback vs Boise to Texas State. Kind of game they overlook and get waxed before they know what hit them. More worried of this game moving to 3 than 4.
Texas State +3.5
Name your score. ND should kill Miami which is an awful football team, don't be fooled at their record. They have a joke of a defense going against a big time defense (front 7) in a showcase game. ND is for real and will expose them for what Miami is. Canes coming off two tough games I didn't expect them to win and now a third week on the road vs a team with a bye week? This has blowout written all over it, 3+TD margin. ND will be able to name their score and run it late to kill clock. Don't see how they don't put up at least 40+. Watch how many people buy into the Canes hype, anything below two TD's should be good.
ND -13

That's it for now, other games the lines should move in my favor. |

#5 Posted: 10/2/2012 2:34:18 AM Also, venue for ND/MIA is not South Bend, but Soldier Field in Chicago. Still hugely pro-ND crowd obviously, but still a change of scenery for a 2 TD favorite.

#7 Posted: 10/2/2012 3:38:50 AM Love that you're on ND. A tiny part of me feels like Miami is that team that pulls miracles out of its behind every week, but what happened the last time they played a team with a good D on the road? They got housed by KState.
Great year so far man, BOL! |

#8 Posted: 10/2/2012 9:42:35 AM damonte there will be 7 Cane fans in the building Saturday. I don't see it as an issue playing in Soldier Field. ND will also unveil new uniforms showing what a big game it is for the program.
austin PST and Temple are both coming off an emotional game so it's a bad spot for both teams. This is the week you take Cal. No point in taking it now, line should hit 3.5 by Saturday because nobody will go near them. Best time to take a team. |

#12 Posted: 10/2/2012 5:47:13 PM I dont disagree with anything you wrote, but I dont think ND should be laying more than a td, if that. They havent played anyone with even close to the speed Miami has. ND has put up 17 ppg since they Navy blowout....I simply dont think they have the team to blow anyone out (except a service academy).
Regardless, bol

#13 Posted: 10/2/2012 5:48:23 PM Speaking of spot plays, what do you think about ULM -3 @ Mid Tenn St? Line has sunk from -6. MTST coming off an enormous upset.... |

#14 Posted: 10/2/2012 7:10:42 PM ND line is about 4-5 points short. Hit it already, myself.
Arkansas and NC State are getting very inflated lines too.

#15 Posted: 10/2/2012 10:37:51 PM Train MDTST is possibly my fav team this year, that QB never makes a mistake it seems. Something about the game bothers me for ULM. Miami has one of the worst defenses in CFB, they have a speed edge but how are they going to stop ND? All they have to do is hand the ball off and the backs won't get touched 4 yards past the line of scrimmage. Anyhow GL this week and congrats on the new addition.
RJ you would be correct. Every fiber of my body is telling me BC laying DD points is a joke. Clemson with their defense shouldn't be such a big fav either IMO. |

#16 Posted: 10/2/2012 10:57:34 PM You could tell me ECU has made great strides of late with their defense, not buying it. If you have a pulse you should be able to put up at least 35 against them. I don't see how ECU will be able to move the ball as they should get dominated on both lines. Line is begging for you to take the points as there seems to be a lot of lines like that this week. You can add this to the list of dogs with no bite.
UCF -13.5
I watched that collapse last week with Wisconsin and knew I'd be fading them this week as soon as the game was over. Such a brutal loss on so many levels and now a huge DD fav? Pretty basic IMO to take Illinois here. Wisky can't run the ball which amazes me, their offense unless they create turnovers can't go the length of the field with any consistency and put drives away. I can't even remember the last time they covered two games in a row. This team is one of the biggest money burner and disappointment's this year, it shouldn't stop this weekend.

#18 Posted: 10/2/2012 11:05:55 PM I'll be on Cal this week and may add Army which should round out the card. Yikes! I am terrified of my card this week.
Probably hit ND again at some point if the line keeps dropping which makes me like the game more. |

#19 Posted: 10/2/2012 11:14:16 PM I watched Army against NIU and was impressed with their offense RJ. I don't think they are half as bad as they seem. Line is up to 10.5 right now. Not sure what happened last week but only adds value to the line, GL this weekend. |

#20 Posted: 10/2/2012 11:17:06 PM Nice work so far this year. Agree on your card so far.
Was leaning Texas large but heard Malcom Brown is out. May still play it.
Also like the Huskers for some reason. |

#24 Posted: 10/3/2012 8:43:09 AM Tremendous start to the season 165.. This continues to be a must follow thread.. I only wish I played a little on the MTST ML last weekend..
Any thoughts on the Texas/WV total? Considering WV almost put up the number alone last week (obviosuly against a much much weaker defense) I think the line is asking fo rthe over again this week and under 75 might be a nice play.. do you play totals at all?
I also think Oregon blows the doors off Washington who are coming off the upset win over Stanford.. Any input would be appreciated

I love NMex. here. E. Mich can't stop the run. Davies has this crew running the ball well. Look at the teams and the yardage they did on the ground. Under Davies at this level, this team will only get better. This will be one of my biggest bets of the year. I had them last week for three units, and might double that this week.
Da pun.
