Alot of chalk here but I think its the right side. Cal makes the long trip cross country to play at the Shoe with the early start time. Cal has been less than impressive thus far and hasn't covered the spread yet, (0-2) Going into the 4th qtr last week against big bad SUtah they only led 20-17. When I looked into the ats numbers I found just as many goods as I did bad for each side. To me it all boils down to defense. State has one and Cal don't. I'll be suprised if Cal scores more than 14 on the Bucks D and I have no doubt State can score on Bears D that has given up 31 to SUtah and 31 to Nevada to start off the year. I will note that State has covered 8 of their last 9 against the Pac-12 and Urban would love to put the hammer down and make a statement win against BCS competition here.
GEORGIA TECH -10
The Yellow Jackets have been good to their loyal ats backers thus far and will be out for big time revenge in this one. The only difference is Virginia won't have an extra week to prepare for the option attack this time around. My boy Paulie usually gets the cash when facing revenge and has covered 8 of the last 9 as a favorite of more than 3 when doing so. Couple that with the home team having covered 14 of the last 17 between these two and I think we see a Cavalier get stung in this one.
FLORIDA +3
Well I'm going to flip flop a little here on the revenge theory. Big Rocky Top will be extremely fired up for this one but I have to take the 3 spot with the better defense in this one. Florida has beat this team 7 straight times and has covered 18 of the last 24 between these two including 4 of the last 5 in Tennessee. Until Tenny shows me they can run with the big dogs...I'll just keep them on the porch.
TEXAS -10
Texas is flying under the radar so far and will be a serious contender imo if they get by OU this year. Ole Piss meanwhile has enjoyed pissing away money as a home dog lately covering just twice in the last 9 chances and will find running the football will be next to impossible against this Longhorn D Line. Tex usually shines in road openers covering 8 of the last 11 and I'll bet they shine bright here as well.
BOL Fellas.
May add a couple late games depending on how these shake out.

BOL Tree I like the card. Qhat are your thoughts on the Bama Under 53.5? You think it'll be slugfest with the Arky D stepping up after a loss? Or does Bama blow them out the building 41-17?

Trey I think Wilson is going to sit the bench in that one. Without him they have zero chance to upset the Tide. I looked over the injury report and Arkansas is beat all to hell. I see no way the back up is going move the ball against Saban's D. With that said the Ark D gave up way to many points for my liking last week. I'll have to say I have no opinion on the total but if pressed I would lean to under.

Love the buckeyes as well, Tree. Cal sucks balls on the road early in the year - particularly against superior talent which OSU certainly has. It may be close for a half but the buckeyes win this game going away by 24+ GL....
