I think you will find FSU's issue in their weak O line.  EJ Manual is gonna get crushed back in the pocket and will have no time to mix it up with the pass. This means very close games, which will give them the two L's OR Manual gets hurt early b/c of the O line issues.....IMO.

If you think FSU's D won't be better than UF's you're nuts... period.

We are also coming along on the O-Line.  I think some people will be surprised how much we have improved.

You obviously don't know the depth chart for UF, they could have a top 2 defense even with playing in the SEC.

and FSU's OL can't do anything but improve because it's not possible to get worse than they were last year.

And you obviously dont know the depth of FSU's D.  Phil Steele ranked the 3rd string D in the top 30 in the country overall.

Maybe because they play Div 2 teams every game on their schedule. If UF had the same schedule as FSU, would their defense be as good?

you do realize that one of those games was scheduled because West Va dropped us from their schedule, right?

That doesn't make up for the ACC schedule alone, FSU's schedule is horrible. There is no excuse to lose more than 1 game with a schedule like that.

Dude, i looked at UF's schedule.  They play LSU, Georgia, and FSU.  Who else? In comparison we have VA tech, Florida, Clemson, and South Florida.  We can't help West Virginia cancelled on us.  I think those compare pretty evenly.

Are you actually going to compare FSU's schedule to anyone other than UGA's in the SEC?

Yes I am.  Other than the 3 teams i mentioned UF plays a bunch of cupcakes and you are obviously a Florida fan if you are defending them.

You are obviously a FSU fan if you think it's even possible to compare their schedule to anyone out of the SEC other than UGA.

FSU has the most ridiculous schedule in the nation

Youre are just an ACC hater and thats all there is to it.  We will have to agree to disagree here.  Im not saying SEC is not the strongest conference.  But the most ridiculous schedule in the nation.  Come on, you are delusionala and obvioulsy just an FSU hater.

If you don't think FSU's schedule is one of the worst in the nation then you are in denial. That is not hating anything

The ACC is not threatening or good enough to hate on, that's like hating on Vanderbilt.

Seminole....Since you keep reply posting as "WE" when you refer to the FSU football tram, your covers brothers can only assume that you are an active letterman.  Wow, it's great that an actual FSU player is posting on covers.  Maybe you can keep this thread going during the season...we won't tell anyone....Promise.

Gotta love any team Homer in gambling.  It's just doesn't mix.

With that being said...I feel that FSU should, and I say should (again) steamroll through the conference.  I'm just worried about the O Line and EJ.  I've already placed a futures bet on them to be in the title game based upon their talent and schedule...not win it, but be in it.  Also added USC & futures to win it.  We'll see.

@Seminole

With all do respect...FSU may have a good season. If so, more power to Jimbo and the program. However, the FSU talent level is not neck and neck with certain programs. It would be very simple to see if you put FSU on the field with those certain teams. You keep referring to January...I hope you don't think FSU will play in the NC game??

I am not trying to hate, but playing in the ACC week in and week out isn't going to cut it in the current conditions. I wish your Seminoles the best but I wouldn't get my hopes up!!

Thanks for some rational talk.  I am not already polishing the national championship trophy but my hopes are higher than they have been in a decade.  I think I have every right to have my hopes high.  Once again, thanks for some coherent talk and not just blindly bashing FSU.

Dr. Lump- I am defnitely an FSU homer but I barely ever bet on FSU.  I try not to bet with my heart.  I learned a long time ago that doing that is a recipe for disaster.

@seminole

I've got nothing but respect for a fan with high hopes. That's what makes the game so great!

It's fine to be optimistic but the ACC has not won a Championship in over a decade and are like 2-20 in BCS bowls.

Even with four loss fisher they should win at least 10 with that schedule.
