A couple of corrections to the post above.

Marcell Dareus was actually suspended for the first two games of the season.  He was subsequently injured in the Arkansas game when he fell over his own player.

Upshaw suffered a high ankle sprain in the first game of the season against San Jose State.

All of the 2012 defensive starters will have significant experience with one possible except . . . JUCO transfrer Deion Belue.

Michigans o line during vt game was hurt! Molk almost didint play and did bc hes a beast, comparing lsu kids to michigan kids is ridiculous! Step back from the ledge, this is a prediction thread.  You have the right to make a prediction of your very own just like everyone else.

While you're educating me about Michigan football, you may as well win some money in the process.  The +16 special deal is still available to you (and you only) until kickoff.

I value the point that if the best player on the field can touch the ball every play it really puts alot of pressure on the defense. You and I both thought before the season last season that Alabama's defense could be the best in college football history. But I think that losing so many pieces will hurt in the first few games. Will Bama's defense recover and become dominate as the season progresses? Of course. I just think it's gonna be hard to simulate that type of speed without seeing it first hand.

Again, Im not saying Michigan will win. Im simply saying this will be a much closer game IMO.

No question DR is a bigger home run threat than JJ.  And as I've said, DR may even break a long run for a TD, but that isn't going to be enough to win or cover this game.

STUDY the other team....make a strong case for this huge / blow-out win....nobody jacks with you

. . . says the jackleg who has never posted a single play or made a single prediction during the 5 years he's been posting on Covers.

You made the same assertions last year until I posted an extensive response enumerating how uncannily accurate my "crazy" predictions have been over the years (or wild-behind predictions as you called them last year).  Funny how after that post you shrunk back into your little hole for a while.  I know how much you like that post, so I saved it just for you.  Should I post re-post it  to once again demonstrate your apparent jealousy of posters who make accurate predictions???

So are my predictions "crazy" when they come to fruition???  How about the national championship game where, contrary to every prediction on Covers, I predicted that LSU's offense wouldn't score a TD and that Alabama would win by double digits.  Take another tuber mon . . . that was a far-out "crazy" prediction dude!!!

How about my predicted 27-3 Penn State score which coincidently was the exact score until Penn State scored a meaningless TD in the waning seconds of the game???  Was that one crazy???  I'm quite sure it was.

How about my 38-0 score prediction on the Vandy game???  Man, that was craaaaaazy huh???

This, by the way, is a Alabama/Michigan score prediction thread.  Where is your score prediction Bookieass.???  Gee, imagine that, Bookieass. hasn't made a score prediction.  Instead Bookieass. would rather come into a score prediction thread and mock other people's score predictions rather than contribute a score prediction of his own.  My prediction is Alabama 38 Michigan 6.  What's yours???

RIGHT.....
that looks like a dude just throwing garbage on the wall...
hoping that (something) sticks .....because if it does
all will recall what a sharp guy he is .....if he's wrong?....few remember.......maybe just 1 or 2 guys..............

a seasoned pro such as yourself....would have never thrown out such crap.....I picture a Harvey Updyke type....maybe with an ascot topping off his overalls.....
*maybe one of your SEC rats?....surely not the Pied Piper himself!
.
Since we're discussing pre-season ONLY.....nice try

I said Texas would surely win (more than they did)....

Michigan would be one of the nation's most improved...and their D would be one their strengths...instead of a weakness

Boise had talent actually close to Georgia's... because they develop at a much faster rate than Georgia....allowing them to overcome the great edge that Georgia and others had on signing day....in great detail....
     *  BTW....only place I saw that theory...was here on Covers....Boise later has the same number drafted (or close).....2 in the 1st round .....a total of 6...and that's with Moore getting left out

Fla St and USC (early) weren't nearly as good as what I thought....Okie St much better

rest dunno....that's about it

*Correct...I have zero interest in sharing my picks or getting others....you do have great insight!

when some of the jack-fools leave I get more involved in bowl season.....usually giving a complete breakdown and recommendation on each game......
in-season .....I'm too busy....hanging out here is just a terrible waste of time.....
*the post a play > bash or praise method so common here.....is useful only to the doucher who knows nothing about CFB...and benefits (the guy that does) ......how exactly?......

So have and that didn't stop me from posting a score prediction, therefore you should likewise have no problem posting a score prediction in a thread that specifcally calls for a score prediction.  So again, what is you score prediction???

was simply laughing at your pre-season SEC hyperbole BS that you throw out each year.....(you denying/challenging made it an issue).....

GTTH?....Bama scores 28-35......Michigan 13-21
at this point a generic 31-17 score will do....as after the bowl game I don't trust Borges' creativity at all

BTW....
a Bama blowout is not out of the question at all here...
just funny once again you get all worked up and we get......
Michigan may not even find the end zone!!!!!
*unless they have gotten a LOT better...they may not

Hopefully you get your big blow-out.....obviously you need it man ...garbage I'm rooting for you and all the other jack-fools that come here for approval....or to be this big internet alpha male...............about 95% or so it appears

I don't know how much Alabama will win by in this game. But, if Michigan State can own them like they have in the past...then Alabama will do the same and more than likely better. I can't remember what week it was last year but Alabama beat Penn State 24-0. I think I will go with 34-10...Michigan gets a late touchdown against the Alabama reserves. And Denard Robinson will leave the game...because the Alabama players under Saban love going for the big hit...Denard won't be able to handle it.

I may be in the minority here.... and again, this is not one of my " write it down and take that garbage to the bank " games... but I think Michigan can keep it close.

Give me........

Alabama  24   Michigan 17

If Fitzgerald is out, I don't see how Michigan stays within the number, Bama will load the box even if he.does play and force denard to throw and he might have worse arm of all d1 qbs...prolly close first half but the gimmick plays won't work all game and Bama should wear them down with their #1 ranked oline verse Michigan completely new dline
