#134 Posted: 11/30/2011 2:46:46 PM Bama played the better game vs. LSU. The only thing that stopped Bama was their own field goal kicker. I believe he left about 9-12 points on the field.
Still cashed in at the window, however, if they meet again, I'll gladly take the points. |

#136 Posted: 11/30/2011 3:46:32 PM This is all good fodder. It really all comes down to 3 criteria:
1.) Where are you ranked to start the season. 2.) When you lose. 3.) And if you lose it better be to really good team. --to have a shot at the crown.
As much as Nick Saban is a darn-stick liar at best; is he a great coach? Without debate.
Is Alabama one of the top shelf team this year? Without debate.
Ice4blood, you hit it right on the head--we're splitting hairs and that is why this thread is still alive and kicking.
In
all honesty, Okie St. could beat OU by 35 Saturday in Stillwater and
make OU look like a high school team and it still wouldn't matter
because they lost to a scum like ISU as a 28 point favorite. They blew
it. Stanford got run by the Ducks like Tuggy would in an Auburn, Alabama
tavern.
If the Cowboys or the Cardinal would have taken care of
business in their iffy Conferences we wouldn't be here in this thread
for the most part.
They gave Roll garbage a window to still their fat behind heads through and they have.
There
are more SEC dicksucker voters than any other football Conference and I
know the Big 10 gets some good head. But, not like the SEC.
I
guess in the grand scheme of things if LSU wins the Crystal Ball after
the dust settles...the College Football world will be back on it's
correct axis.
But, if Roll-garbage wins..........Let the garbage fly and the Playoffs talk will spread like wild fire.

#141 Posted: 12/2/2011 11:37:57 AM Skip Bayless just said it best. McCarron wouldn't start for a 8 of the Big 12 Teams Garbage. he will look like garbage again vs LSU and T-Rich will not get 50 yards.

By far away your best POST in this controversial Tide hattin' thread.U ask for civility but u antagonize Tide backers, that woud piss me off too. but, onto topic.
If a playoff system could result from a Bama win in BCSNCG that would be AWESOME I am a BIG SUPPORTER of playoffs that could net NCAA some serious
PLAYOFF SYSTEM that is why we can end all this drama BS and settle it on the field

#146 Posted: 12/4/2011 9:58:00 AM Can't say a team is the champ when the championship game has not been played yet. It's like saying Packers is the champ at the end of the season when the playoff has not started yet. That's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

You're a disingenuous fucktard. You tell others to be civil - and yet you hurl insults at teams, other posters and of course a coach you've never met. If you were a priest, you should be defrocked - but since you aren't - we'll settle for having your balls stretched up over your head and stapled to your neck.
As for your assertion that LSU are the champs, you probably also think the New England Patriots were the Superbowl Champs in 2007/2008. They went undefeated in the regular season, and of course had already beaten the Giants.

No, moron, the NFL has playoffs they settle it on the field like men not pussys behind computers and "good losses".
Saban saying this is the system we have tonight was classic coming from the guy who lost at home and scored 6 points in regulation and an OT.
LSU already beat all comers. They are already the Champs. They have beat
the team in their back yard they have to play for the Title supposedly?
All this who is second doesn't even matter.
LSU is already the Champions. It's no contest. This is not what the BCS
creators had in mind. To let the team that already lost at home play the
same team again for the Title 2 months later. If anyone got fucked in the whole deal
it's LSU.
The BCS is broken.
