I am high on the Broncos and think they win the MAC. This Western Michigan offense is good and will be able to move the ball at will through the air imo (Carder to White). Big fan of Drake in the backfield also. Michigan's d does not impress me. Look at what they did against bad teams last year (see Umass/Ball etc). I also think Michigan will be rusty with a new coach/new offense and am not a fan of what they are trying to do (think theyre limiting Denard)

I think Hoke is bluffing about limiting Denard. You don't take a weapon on offense like that and make him less effective. He may have a few less designed quarterback runs, but I am sure Hoke will make sure Denard still has plays that when things break down he can create. Michigan does not have the personal to run a pure pro style offense yet due to the types of player Rich Rod recruited.

What do you think about La Tech/So Miss? On paper So. Miss has much more talent on offense w/ Austin Davis and some returning receivers while La Tech offense hasn't been good and not expected to be good. So. Miss has historically been tough at the Rock but they weren't great there LY. I would expect them to win convincingly but who knows.

I think La Tech has a true freshman starting at QB. Theyll have to just hand it to Creer every play. Southern Miss brings back A LOT and this team is undervalued imo. Lost 4 games by 8 combined points this year and blew a lot of leads. Easily couldve been a very very good year in 2010 (shouldve beat Ville in the bowl). Southern Miss should spread this team out and score at will, but the line is weird and these teams always play each other close. Southern Miss beat em by 1 last year and I think LT beat em the previous trip to Hattiesburg. SM or no play and I choose no play
