It's at 7 right now at the Greek... I know this won't be a very popular pick with the rest of the forum...
But if this number keeps going up.
I m taking Ohio S.T
If it goes to 7.5 then, I m pulling the trigger..
This IMO.... is a ridiculous number for a school that will travel to the East Coast to Play in the Horse Shoe WITH A TRUE FRESHMAN QB Giving 7 or more points..
Get the Popcorn Ready.... I leaning Ohio S.T Here.....

I agree 100%. I was going to bet Ohio St as a small fav, but now I'm going to load up with them getting a TD. You are never as bad as you look nor are you ever as good as you look. Buckeyes will not lose by more than 4 in this game.

I think the speed difference will be an issue in this one. If I were playing OSU, I'd wait til game time to bet. Liking USC, I can't think of a spread high enough to keep me off of it. This was a highly debated game last year as well. I expect similar results. Bol to all.

Speed? OSU usually has among the fastest teams in the country, and they send as many guys to the NFL as anyone. Try again. This will likely be the biggest game ever in Columbus , which is really saying something. Expect the Buckeyes to be ready here.

well maybe they just play football in slow-motion then, I watched them against Navy and thought I was watching an instant replay session, quite possibly the worst moving offensive line for a top 10 team I have seen in years

If Navy was getting that much pressure and penetration in the backfield, just wait for SC's linemen. This is the fastest defense SC has ever had. They are young but the LB's are very smart instinctive players who make tackles.
As for the offense, although a freshman QB he knows how to handle big games and the running game is going to be the staple of their offense. We seen Navy do very well and those Olinemen are no where near the size/strength that SC has. OSU was a better team last year and still got pounded. Home turf is big and OSU needs to start fast to be in this game IMO.

Better aim that gun at your head, you are going to want to kill yourself later. USC started slow against SJSU and didn't score in the first quarter. By the 4th quarter, it was kick back time. They still scored huge and stuffed SJSU on the run. Don't forget, Pryor is going to be under a lot of pressure. He got picked once against Navy. And that coach made a terrrible call. USC by 21

When was the last time USC lost a big non-conference game in the regular season? I personally cant even remember. They will be up for this game BIG TIME. As long as USC does not give the ball away the result is a foregone conclusion.

Did you watch us play? We are slow as fuck.... Have you seen us play teams with speed Fla, LSU, USC.... we are slow as fuck.... on Saturday night, we're still going to be slow as fuck and outcoached....

i hate going against you man, but i gotta say i love usc here. i hopped on it at -6 for 2 units. i do see the line climbing as the week goes on, which is why i took it as soon as it came out.

I have watched OSU the last few years and the entire game against Navy. They just have not showed up against the big time teams at all. My concern is that they continue to underachieve. I think Tressel can get this turned around, but right now they are just not very good. I think their O and D lines will get absolutely manhandled by USC's lines. OSU moved their starting center to right tackle and he seems misplaced. Their offensive line surrendered a lot of pressure to an undersized Navy team. And on D, the OSU linebackers simply did not make any plays. They miss Laurenitis more than people think. (Full disclosure: I am an OSU grad and huge fan).
Bottom line,l you can never count out OSU at home with a hyped up fan base and an immense talent like Pryor. But they appear to be at least a year and several recruits away from national championship contention. I think they will get outgained by at least 200 yards. Counting on winning the special teams and turnover battles seems like faint hope. Always beware of the backdoor cover here.

Just curious on what rationale the OSU pickers have for saying the Bucks will cover? They really showed very little to make you think they can hang at all with a deep and talented USC team who always seems to play well against good competition.
I hope to God I'm wrong but just don't see how OSU can play with the Trojans, unless they have an all out attacking defense that confuses a freshman QB and somehow stuffs their run game.
