NC State +11 - it seems to me that these weekday home dogs have been covering at a good clip this year. Also, we may see a twinge of letdown from FSU as they played their GOY on the 4th against Miami.
TCU xx - Horned Frogs very tough at home - 18-2 SU and 14-4 ATS the past 3 years.
Boise -24.5 - With the exception of Fresno, Hawaii typically sucks on the mainland. Add in the fact that the blue rug is distracting to watch on TV much less to play on, and undersized Warrior defense
that's allowed 101 combined
pts. vs. the top two attacks it has faced (Florida & Oregon State) makes laying the big number more feasible. Boise outscoring its opponents 117-23 in the first half.
Kansas +20 - I'm wondering if Oklahoma's head will be in this game after getting hosed by the refs in Dallas last week. KU and Reesing capable of putting up big offensive numbers keeping the Jayhawks within the number.
Central Michigan -1Chippewa's are 11-3-2 vs. spread at
Kelly/Shorts Stadium since '05
Ole Miss +13 - Alabama is
only 3-16 as Tuscaloosa fave since ''05 (1-2 TY)If Ole Miss minimizes mistakes (15 giveaways
so far), Rebels strong-armed QB Snead (1272 YP) & his speedy WRs
well-equipped to stretch Bama defense. Doubt Tide's preferred smashmouth
tactics overwhelm a now-healthy, formidable Ole Miss DL (allowing 3.3. ypc).
Vandy +15 - Georgia failed to cover the 12.5 points against a very marginal Tennesse club last week. Commodores have covered the last 5 as a dog and conversely the Hounds are a meager 3-8 as double digit faves in Athens since 05'
Texas Tech -21 - I know that laying a big number on the road is dangerous, but if Miami can put up 41 at A&M, and K State scoring 44 on A&M's home field, as well as OK State putting up 56, I do believe Red Raiders smoke the Aggies. GRAHAM HARRELL Last Week: Tied at 7-all against Kansas, Graham Harrell
engineered scoring drives on Tech's next seven possessions, leading the
Red Raiders to a 58-28 victory. The senior QB completed 38-of-51 passes
for 454 yards with six TD passes (tying a single-game career high) and
no INTs. He also added a one-yard TD run. It was Graham's 26th game of
300 yards passing and the 17th time he had topped 400 yards. Tech had a
tougher than expected time with Nebraska this past Saturday, edging the
Cornhuskers 37-31 in OT. Harrell threw for two TDs and ran for another,
while completing 20-of-25 for 284 yards without an interception. It
marked his lowest total of passing yards in a game since 2006, when he
threw for 250 yards in a 34-24 loss at Oklahoma. Tech was almost a
three-TD favorite, so the win was hardly impressive..
The two TD passes against the Wildcats gives Harrell 109 in his career.
He is one of seven players with more than 100 all-time and Colt
Brennan's career mark of 131 is certainly within his reach. Harrell has
now thrown for 12,993 yards in his career and passed Kliff Kingsbury
(12,429 yards from 1999-02) for the most passing yards in Texas Tech
history a week ago. Tech travels to A&M this coming Saturday to
face the Aggies. Harrell's had little trouble with the A&M defense
the last two seasons, completing 62-of-82 passes for 817 yards with
seven TDs and no INTs. Harrell's season stats are: 178-of-262 (667.9
percent) for 2,311 yards with 20 TDs and three INTs / QB rating of
164.9 ranks eighth / three rush TDs.
Michigan State +3.5 - I believe the wrong team is favored here. tOSU is way overrated and this Terrell Pryor isn't that great. He throws the ball with little or no zip and he has thrown
for just 104 ypg and 1 TD in last 3 games. Beanie Wells sure looks like he's still hurting from the toe injury. Add in the facts that QB Brian Hoyer of MSU has 205
ypg passing, 5 TDP just 1 int. last 3 games and Javon Ringer running like a madman and I'm taking the Spartans +3.5 and ml of +135
Illinois -15 - Indiana just plain awful. IU has given up 136 pts. in the last 4 games and they're 0-5 ATS. Illini and Juice buonce back in a big way after losing to Minnesota last week.
I usually don't bet 10 games, but all of these I liked.

Nevada -21 - Utah State is so bad.Lasdt week NMSU nailed UASU for 406 yp. They lost at Nevada in 06' by a margin of 42-0. Nevada is 13-3 as a home chalk since 04'. QB Borel's option play into hands of Wolf Pack stop
unit (7th vs. run). Utah "D" ranks 105th, so it should be fun time for Nevada
Pistol that's scored 48 ppg last 3 weeks.
