i was hoping this was going to happen, florida atlantic losing outright has everyone thinking they suck, and i agree that was ugly last week, but again this is the same team that won the sunbelt last year. as far as im concerned for betting purposes florida won that game last week. troy has been very good ats in conference but i dont see how they should be favored here on the road. actually both teams are 8-2 ats last 10 conference games. this same fau team beat troy outright as a 15 point dog last year on the road. this will be troy's 3rd road game in a row and florida atlantic did score 49 in their only home game this year. will wait on the total but this will probably fly over. florida atlantic 37 troy 30

I am on the Other side .. Playing the revenge factor
Troy is coming off a Bye after playing 2 very good teamson the road Ohio St and Oklahoma St. Troy QB Jaime Hampton is a decent Dual threat QB Completeing 63% for 235 Yards Passing per game with 9 TD's and 7 INTS, he has also added 2 TD's on the ground while Avg. 4.9 YPC...RB Dujan Harris is avg 5.9 YPC...
on the Other Side I was a Big Rusty Smith fan coming into this season but Losing his superstar TE before the season started has really hurt his numbers... Rusty has not thrown a TD pass since the second game of the season...Besides he Looked unable to throw the ball more than 10 Yards last week vs MD TN...
I think Troy wins by 13+
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

On the other side bro. Your backing an offense that is dead last in the nation. No way they get anywhere near 30 pts. IMO.
GL to you however.
gl j.. their offense has only had the benefit of one home game which they scored 49 points in.. they had 3 road games in a row, i guess this is the week to see if they will get on track or not because rusty did push 4k yards last year , gl

First, I'd like to say its a pleasure to read everyone's insight and takes on the games. I've been on here to read for nearly 2 years now, and I've posted a few times, but had to make a new account since I changed emails. I just mostly like to read, but maybe since I've seen more and more good insight from you guys I'll throw in on the conversation more often. Just want to say thanks, you guys help in my prep and research every week....
Now onto the game tomorrow night, I completely agree about the previous post on Rusty Smith and the Owls offense. He has struggled. I've been able to catch FAU twice now here in Cleveland..the MSU game and last week against MTSU. Losing the conference's top TE in Harmon is, with out a doubt, a huge factor. 63 rec. and 5 tds in an already very solid receiving group. One thing in comparing Smith to what I saw last year is that he doesn't look comfortable in the pocket. Besides Harmon, everyone is back. But one thing that hampered the Owls is injuries up on the OLine...most importantly, 3 year starter C Nick Paris. FAU has moved G Kevin Miller and what I've read and seen so far this year, has really struggled at C. Paris is one of the top C in the SBC and from reading some articles the past day, he is practicing this week for the first time and they are being quiet about his health, at least what I've come across. I think this could be a huge factor in sparking up the offense this week..that is if he is somewhat healthy. In researching the game, I'm favoring Troy by 13. If Troy goes into this game with their head on and focused, and play the way they should, a win will put them in the driver's seat in the SBC since they will be 2-0 and wins against MTSU and FAU. 4 out of the last 6 will be at home where they are deadly and the 2 road games are very winnable @ North Texas and ULM. Coach Blakeney has to be using this to motivate these guys this week. A win tomorrow really puts them in control for the conf. title. But on the other hand, FAU's season is on the line and you have to wonder what their mindset is after the horrible loss last week. I think they knew last week was a must win game, when looking ahead on their schedule with all the tough road trips to open the season out, especially against Minnesota who has improved this season and would be 100% focused and in total revenge mode after last year's loss to FAU. I'm sure they thought in the back of their minds in the beginning of the season they could easily have gone into the MTSU game at 1-3 and they would really need a win against them. Now in terms of the conf, they must win tomorrow. And if you throw in an offensive line that is starting to get healthy, it changes the whole landscape of the game. Going to do some more reasearch on it, but just may pass and wait till Thurs. night. ...Anyways, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in and thanks again for all the great insight and reading I get from you guys.

Boss- Thanks for the kind words. Only been in this for a little less then 10 years, but been following college football and hoops my whole life.. especially now since the NBA and NFL are almost unwatchable in my opinion..although I will always have a place in my heart for the Browns.....even more so when you can parlay a Browns overtime upset win against the Seahawks last Nov. and then walk up the street 10 minutes to the Q and end the night at the Springsteen and the EStreet Magic concert...one of the top 10 nights of my life my friend.
