Will be keeping a season long thread for score in the first inning bets. Many shy away, and rightfully so, but I enjoy them and decided to share, Tail or fade, just here to share. I will also using Bovada for my posted lines.

hey bud, just a quick info for you.. so far there are 12 games with score on 1st and 24 games with no score on 1st. Might want to switch it up. I have an excellent chase system for no score on 1st that did really well last year, so well as a mater of fact that we were all doing it on here on covers and some of the books took that whole bet down for good and don't offer it anymore. but to each his own..

I won't disagree that the no score isn't a bad bet and with the better pitchers pitching the last few days, fresher arms and the beginning of the season, it certainly may be better at the moment. Numbers say that since 2000 that there is slightly more of a chance that a run will be scored in the first inning, and often with less juice. Such as today with the Cubs and Cards. While the odds are in Lackey's favor, While Lynn on the other hand, hasn't had much success as of late against the cubs (yes 2015) and historically the 1st inning is his worst. With the addition of his fastball falling to 90 or less which had been his staple of years past. The wind is also blowing out to left today in STL. You would have to lay -145 for a no score in the first inning bet. Just not worth it on a basically pick-em bet.
And yes to each their own. I wish you the best of luck this season. Hopefully you will have success and I will be able to turn it around as well.
