goes to the Detroit Tigers. Coming off an impressive series win O.T.R. against the best team in baseball, STL, and knowing they will be in a dogfight with the 1st place KC Royals till the end, the Tigers will do what they're suppose to do to a lesser team, kick their butts. The Brew Crew has lost 4 of their last 5 and in those losses scored a total of 6 runs. They are batting a paltry .192 vs lefties (.234 OBP) and have the worst run differential in baseball, -56. DET is hitting .277 vs righties (.341 OBP) and are +20 in the run diff. category. Lobstein was hit hard his last time out against what was a hot Twins team (TB did cool them off this weekend) but the Brewers are anything but. Lobstein had actually pitched pretty well prior to that game surrendering only 8 ER's his last 28 IP, 4 games (7 inn. per game for you non math majors). The Brew Crew is 5-10 O.T.R. thus far. Strangely, these 2 have not met since 2009, so there is no recent past to evaluate. I'll gladly back the better team and lay the 1.5 at + money.
DET -1.5, +148
As always good luck to all
