Exactly. How about yesterday's game where the runner blew base the 3rd base coach waving him to stop and he kept on going and scored. Gordon is actually one of the slowest outfield Turds in MLB. His bat awakes in the final game after having 2 hits for his last 28 at bats. Any other KC player would have scored except for this beer guzzling gut Gordon. Hope they trade the Turd !

It would not have been inside the park HR . would have been a single with errors
getting ready to watch a video of that play but I heard today that Crawford had to catch the relay on short hop. Normally not a difficult task, but if everyone yelling "4" , he might have gotten a little nervous. I dont care cause I won my SF bet but that was some late drama

Just watched the replay and there is an interesting breakdown on Alex Gordon's speed running the bases. Apparently he loafed a little going to 1st then turned it on going to 2nd and started putting on brakes approaching 3rd
Interesting breakdown. The fasted ever running the bases was Dee Gordon clocked at 13.89 , Alex Gordon made it to 3rd in 12.2. Conclusion is that even if he had run all out from the initial hit, he would have been rounding third as the ball got to rlay man Crawford, and very very likely gotten thrown out at home.
I agree that the proper play was to hold him , I dont think you can 'hope' for a throwing error from a big league player, you certainly should be ready to take advantage of an error but not base your decision on 'hoping' for another error.
Had he gotten thrown out at home, the 3rd base coach would have been cruxified for ending the game. Only the pop up by the next batter makes everyone want to go back and replay the decision. i have thought about calling my bookie and changing my bet but it dont work that way.
