Wednesday: 2-1(+0.75 units) Got teased with the perfect day but a 3 run 9th inning in the Yankees/O's made sure it wasn't meant to be. But profit is still profit so I can't complain too much.
Miami ML (+210) The Marlins have had tremendous success against Stephen Strasburg. In his last 7 appearances against the Marlins Strasburg is 2-2 with a 6.97 era. Stanton is 8-21 with 6 XBH and 2 home runs. Strasburg seems to get off to slow starts to begin the season with this years being no different. He comes in with an 0-1 mark to go with a 6.10 era and was hit hard against the Mets and Braves. This years Marlins team has a lot of fight in them with a nice makeshift offensive line up. Koehler has pitched well for them as well going 3-0 with a 2.13 era in his last 4 outings. I almost played it safe and went with the Marlins +1.5 for the -105, but +210 is way too much value for me to pass up on. I might not get the result I want but I feel like the Marlins are definitely a live dog in this one.
Red Sox ML (-105) Bucholz has owned the Yankees in recent outings, holding them to just 1 run in the past 18 innings. I was torn between the riding the Red Sox ML or under 8.5 with the Yankees countering with Pineda, but following my initial read and riding the better team and better pitcher for a nice price.
A's/Twins u8.5 (-110) That 11 run affair from Wednesday was a bit skewed with the Hughes struggling in the first. After he settled down the A's only had 1 more hit until the 9th+ craziness began. Jim Johnson blew another safe and crooked numbers galore with an extra inning bomb made is a very high scoring game. In the rubber match between these two I think we will see a much different kind of game with it being a low scoring affair.

Only concern with the marlins pick, is koehler had such easy matchups and its not easy mentally to pitch with a deficit rather than a sizeable lead. Just a thought...good picks last night, unlucky result in nyy but 2-3 is right in line.
