Yesterday was an eventful day. Went 1-1 while losing 0.13 units. Some of you have seen the columns I've posted in this forum, a cut&paste job from my blog. Yesterday I got hired by a website to write the rumors section for baseball. Pretty cool stuff. Anyways, let's get to the real fun, sports gambling.
Record: 8-5-0 Units: +2.74
Boston Red Sox ML (-116) for 1 unit I locked this one in early this morning. I'm not crazy about going against Chris Archer but most Spring games are won or lost in the innings after the starter. Tampa has a whole lot of unimpressive pictures going after Archer. Both lineups feature major league talent but the Rays are a lot more scarce with how long the starters stay in. I like the Red Sox a lot today.
Arizona Diamondbacks ML (+103) for 1 unit This is a case of the price being right. The Padres have two thirds of their opening day lineup going but Arizona has almost all of them playing today. The D-Backs will send out Delgado & Reed to the mound while the Padres send out the possible grease fire of Stults. Love the price.
I may be back with a play on the late games, but we'll see.

Love your write-ups, and agree with a lot of the things you say. Did your notes have Boxberger and McGee going? Both are pretty strong strikeout guys. Even Enny is a top lefty arm in their farm system and has reached AAA.
Obviously this is easy for me to say now - but I only just saw it. No action so not arguing...just curious.
