Man..............no offense..................

Take a look at this guys record, and you'll see why they called him The Man

Played over 1000 games in the outfiled and first base......

SEVEN batting titles, and won MVP 3 times, finish SECOND 4 times.

In '43, struck out 18 times, walked 72 times................

Missed Triple Crown when game he homered in was rained out in '48

Hit .330 at age 41 in 505 PA

Was at HOF inductions in 1999. One night, Musial showed up and played a few minutes of harmonica for all the assembled fans.

An excellent way to put it. I second the motion.
Sorry I forget who said it but one of the best pitchers of his era said "Yeah, I got a strategy for pitching to Stan. I throw him my best pitch and then go back up third." That about sums it up.

WHEN HE GOT INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME

HE HELD SO MANY RECORDS ,THEY COULD NOT FIT THEM ON HIS PLAQUE.

THEY STATED ONLY THAT HE HELD MANY RECORDS.
