Yes. Definitely made me take another look at it. Did you know the Indians are 13-24 against left-handed starters? Lester hasn't been very good and the Sox line-up is a bit depleted. But Kluber is really bad. Lester is something like 62-1 with 6 runs of support. Good probability that the Sox can get close to that number off this kid. |

1:05 EST - New York Yankees @ Toronto Blue Jays Under 9.5 (-115)
I was hoping to see this total hit 9.5 and it finally did at my shop. I was still considering playing it at 9 if I got even or plus money on the wager. Happ surprisingly ranks #28 in my database over the last 30 days and most of the Yankees have never seen him. Hughes has been terrible lately, but the Blue Jays are lining up a triple-A offense. |

I'm watching the line movement on this game. I've got some time to decide still. |

Not sure about Kluber being really bad. His first start he was nervous and gave up 6 then after that no runs. Then gave up 1 ER in 6 innings to the twins. Yes he faced the Royals and Twins but Red Sox aren't playing better than these too. I give you the lefty stat as the Indians struggle against lefties. We got 2 guys with ERA's combined over 11 yet the total started at 9 and now at 8.5, which may tell me it could be a very close game and the Indians having a shot at the win. GL though on it and the rest of the plays. |

Me neither. I'm a die hard born-and-raised on Red Sox fan and it says something that this is only the third time I've placed a bet on their side in 145 different wagers on the season. |

Good insight and you might be right. I like how you read the total movement.. could be a clue by the oddsmakers. I'm hoping that some of Lester's problems this year have been mostly mental. Trying to over-pitch to get his good stuff back. If he finds himself with some run support, the Cleveland hitters are pretty consistently around .240 against left-handed starters from top to bottom with very few guys much above .270. Lester should feel comfortable with this line-up and I think he'll pitch loose and under control. |
