#1 Posted: 4/5/2012 9:05:27 AM I will post all my picks all year in this thread so I cant be accused of making up my numbers LOL.
Today alot of weird games got a bad feeling on Philly today Dempster usually pitches well vs washington (9-1 lifetime) but this is a different washington team. Verlander vs lester a great matchup but I will go with 2 picks today
Los Angeles Dodgers -150
Padres have no offense getting a decent price on a top tier starter Ill be it on the road but the didgers could surprise alot of people this year. Volquez is hit or miss so hard to go under with this game the Dodgers are the safer pic. Kershaw was 3-0 last yr vs Pads and 7-3 lifetime I will lay the 150 risk 450 to win 300
Toronto BlueJays -125
While everyone is calling the AL East a 3 team race not many people are looking to Toronto. Romero is a very under rated starter and you seem to get good value on him all the time. Toronto has the better offense here and the better pitcher on the mound so ill take the value at 125 and go small on Toronto risk 125 to win 100
so to sum it up 2 plays to start the season
LA Dodgers 450/300
Toronto 125/100
Best of luck everyone and will be back tomorrow with more plays |

Alot of interesting games today some big matchups but only 2 games stand out really for me so thats all Im going to play. Good night last night got both W's so hopefully build on that today here are the plays
St. Louis +112
Im sure everyone is on Milwaukee today because of Gallardo and yes hes a good pitcher but look at his carrer vs the Cards 1-7 and that includes 1-3 last year. Milwaukee was the better team last year and he went 1-3 this yearbye bye Prince and bye bye offense for the Brew Crew as mat Gamel isnt the answer. Garcia is a very under rated pitcher and is 3-2 vs Brew Crew life time and 1-0 last year. I like the value here so going to risk 200 to win 224
Colorado at Houston OVER 7.5 -115
Astros are terrible but play in a band box. they throw there best pitcher out there but Colorado has a very good offense. weve seen alot of unders so far and no softball type scoring games. these arent the best pitchers so I can see this one lighting up the scoreboard. The Rox send out a guy who lead the majors in losses last year as there ace this cant be good you might hit the over by the 4th inning here. I will risk 230 to win 200 here
Colorado at Houston 1st 5 inn OVER 4 -105
Same as above should hit here will go small risk 105 to win 100
so to recap my 3 plays today
St.Louis 200/224
Over 7.5 Colorado/Houston 230/200
Over 4 1st 5 inn Colorado/Houston 105/100
Best of luck to everyone today |

Today not alot of good options 2 games really stand out for me
LA Angels -1.5 +120
I hate laying big juice as one wrong game depletes your bank roll. I would rather take the shot with a run line. Dan Haren always pitches very well to start the 1st half of the season then goes into his post All StarBreak swoon. Kansas City is young and aggressive and Haren will use that to his advantage. KC sends out Hochevar who is awful and the Angeles should score runs here. Haren is 4-1 in his career vs KC Hochevar is 0-3 in his career vs LAA including 0-1 last year. Ill lay the runs here and take the +120 Risk 300 to Win 360 here
Philadelphia -159
Doc Halliday shut down the Bucs and now its Cliff Lee's turn to play top that. Pittsburgh offense will have trouble all night and the Phils should score runs here. Lee did beat Pitt last year. Karstens is an OK pitcher and the Phillies have the better offense the better starter and the better bullpen. I will lay the 159 here. Risk 318 to Win 200 here
Best of luck to everyone today |

#12 Posted: 4/7/2012 3:01:01 PM Lido just a thought that in order to avoid the -1.5 runs with Anaheim, an option could have been to take their team total over instead. |

Didnt play anything yesterday as didnt have time to look since it was easter and had family over and the kids all excited finsing eggs so sorry for not posting. Saturday was ugly day and lets rebound today
San Francisco +155
All the Barry Zito jokes aside he is 5-2 in his career vs Colorado and San Fran lost a heartbreaker yesterday. They will be motivated and Colorado seems to start off slow early on in the year and they looked lifeless vs Houston. San Fran seems like a value play here ill risk 200 to win 310 here
Houston +156
Houston looked alot better than I expected early on and Atlanta just looked lost vs the Mets Happ isnt the greatest pitcher but he is 2-0 vs Atlanta Carlos Lee looks locked in vs Colorado and if hes healthy and produces watch out. i will ride him for now and take the value with the hotter team and they are home. ill risk 200 to win 312 here
New York Yankees -143
Getting swept to the Rays must have "The Boss' rolling in his grave I could see him going nuts after Sundays game. The Yanks were outplayed outmanaged and just about everything in that series. Baltimore swept a hapless Minnesota team. A mad Yanks are no Minnesota Ivan Nova was 2-0 last year vs Baltimore and 1 of those wins was at Camden Yards (Yankess Stadium South). The Yanks always play well in Baltimore and dont know when youll see the Yanks this low of a favorite I will load up on the Yanks today ill risk 715 to win 500 here
Good Luck to everyone today |

Went 3 for 3 yesterday to rebound from the horrible Saturday and hit 2 live dogs in the process lets keep it going today
LA Dodgers -1.5 EV
Pittsburgh took 2 of 3 from Philly but showed no offense at all. Dodgers looked very good at San Diego. I dont like laying the big juice so figuring the Dodgers can scratch out 2 more runs than Pitt even though Correia is 5-4 life time vs them. This is the Dodgers home opener and Kershaw is fresh after his short outing. The crowd should be jacked and Dodgers should respond. Over under is low so I will play with the run line to minimize the juice ill risk 300 to win 300 here
NY Mets -112
Mets now 4-0 which is shocking and now they send out one of there under rated pitchers in Gee. Everyone harps on his 2nd half struggles but look at his first half and you can see he will be the real deal. Gee is 3-0 lifetime vs washington and 2-0 last year. this is a very short price for a pitcher at home and a hot team. I will ride the Mets here. ill risk 336 to win 300 here
Milwaukee -110
Brewers starter Narveson is 6-1 lifetime vs Cubbies and 3-1 last year. Brew Crew got the win yesterday and I think they have the better offense and bullpen. Cubs starter Maholm is 3-8 lifetime vs Brewers including 0-2 last year. Both pitchers arent the greatest but the slight edge would go to Narveson in this matchup and factor in his record ill lay the small juice on the road. ill risk 220 to win 200
Good Luck to everyone today |

#15 Posted: 4/10/2012 12:41:16 PM Drabek vs the Red Sox is 9 inning pitched 0-1 and 12.00 ERAI think Sox have his number, and I think they woke up yesterday and will be energized from that come back win. The Jays arent hitting the passed few games

Not a great day yesterday but hopefully todays better
St. Louis +115
St. Louis has been fast out of the gate surprising alot of people. Garcia is 1-0 this year pitching well and hes 6-1 in his career vs Cincy including 2-1 last yr Johnny Cueto looked good in his first start but these arent the light hitting Marlins. St. Louis gets the job done today as a slight dog ill risk 200 to win 230 here
Boston -121
I wasnt high on Boston this year. A lot of people were all over Boston yesterday and were disappointed today they send there Ace out Lester who is 10-4 in his career vs Toronto and was 3-0 last year. I always feel Romero is under rated but against Boston hes 4-6 lifetime and was 2-2 last year. I think Lester shows up and stops the bleeding and gives Boston a big effort. He pitched well vs Verlander last time and should do it again here. ill risk 363 to win 200 here
LA Dodgers -142
I will continue to ride the Dodgers here as Pittsburgh struggles in LA plus they cant score any runs. Billingsly is 5-1 in his career vs Pittsburgh and looked very sharp last out vs the Pads. the number is low and I dont trust Erik Bedard one bit. ill lay the juice and take the Dodgers here. ill risk 426 to win 300 here
LA Angels/Minnesota under 7.5 -120
Minnesotas offense is putrid and Weaver looked good vs KC. I can see him mowing down Minnesota like he did the Royals. Pavano wasnt all that bad vs Baltimore and did go 7 inn. I can see this as a 3-1 type of game. ill risk 360 to win 300 here
Good Luck to everyone today

Ugly day yesterday as cards blow game Boston blew and Minnesota finds offense all of a sudden
Arizona -132
Ian Kennedy has never lost to the Pads in his career and he was not happy about his 1st outing either. The DBacks lost a bad one yesterday and I dont see them losing another one to the lowly Pads so ill risk 660 to win 500 here
LA Angels -139
Dan haren was brutal in his 1st start of the year. he is 4-3 lifetime vs Minnesota but was 2-0 last year. Angels travel to the Bronx for a big series with Yanks so they dont want to lose another one before then I see the Angels rebounding today and beat the twinkies. ill risk 556 to win 400 here
Good Luck to everyone today |

Thought we were in line for a big payday yesterday when Angels went up 6-0 but of course they collapse. Kennedy started slow and then hit cruise control for the W
Angels/Yankees Over 9 -120
Yanks usually win in home openers but dont trust Kuroda here the Yanks can score runs and the crowd will have them jacked. Angels bullpen looks awful and I think they can score off Kuroda enough to push this over the total. ill risk 360 to win 300 here
Angels/Yankees 1st 5 inn Over 5 -110
Same reasoning as above I see this game going over ill risk 220 to win 200 here
Tampa Bay +114
Boston is in disaray right now and they limp home for the home opener. Tampa has been playing very well so far and Price looked good vs the Yanks while Beckett struggled mightily vs Detroit. Price is 6-3 vs Boston in his career and I think they present good value today so ill risk 200 to win 228
Kansas City -120
The "K" will be rocking as the Royals finally come home after starting out west. They have looked good despite the 3-3 record. Hochevar looked stellar vs Angels and Cleveland lineup is no where near the Angels one. Fans in KC have been waiting forever to be excited about this team and they get the right opponent in a hapless Cleveland team. Royals explode here ill risk 360 to win 300 here
Seattle -154
King Felix again vs Oakland is this all he pitches against LOL. Seatlle home opener after being on the road forever. Felix owns the A's in his career 13-4 and has beat them this year. Seattle quietly playing well and I think the home fans will be into this. ill risk 462 to win 300 here
Good Luck to everyone today |
