Spot on analysis here brotha. I thought game one was a fluke by Nashville but they followed it up with a better showing game 2. They deserve all the credit. I got a lot of flack for my "Nashville stinks" comment after game 1 in saying they got lucky but I will flip that and say that the Hawks are the ones who are stinking. As crazy as it is to say this: I'm not worried just yet. You can't play any worse if you are the Hawks so I'd expect coach Q to light a fire under their a$$es. I like that they are going on the road; they need to get out town and focus. They just seemed uninterested in the first two games and if the Hawks are to go far, I'm glad they are getting tested immediately as opposed to later. The youngsters on the team are facing their first big piece of adversity so I'm curious to see how they answer. I really think they should start darling game 3. Get game 3. Get an extra day off between games and then anything can happen. I think there will be a game 7 played in the UC. If so, gotta love the Hawks chances.

No depth. The Kane and Toews extensions ended the Hawks
Seven 20 goal scorers, no depth?
Overreactions never cease to amaze, Chicago is one of the deepest teams in the league, coming into this series so poorly prepared is on the coaching staff.

They had 6 20 goal scorers. Hartman had 19. Next highest? 6 from a handful of guys.
Yeah great depth w/ Toews centering Ryan Hartman and Richard Panik. Their bottom six is not good with Schmaltz/Kruger/Rasmussen/Kero/Tootoo. Q got desperate and had to throw Hossa in the bottom six to try and even things out.
Watch the games bud. Team is not what is was 2 years ago. Back to back RD1 exits. Overrating? They didn't score a single goal at home.

So my Nashville "stinks" comment after game 1 created an uproar yet the Hawks " having no depth?" hasnt?! Wow. This might be the most inaccurate post I've seen in a while. Kane and toews made -0.5 million the last cup? They have two bad games and look at all the experts in here coming out of the woodworks. It's comical.

No, they didn't. The first year of the Kane and Toews extensions was last year.

Blackhawks are just tired , they have played so many extra games in the playoffs the last 6 years , with 3 cups , they might win game 3 ..( doubt it ) , but they're done
just my 2cents worth , i've seen a lot of Blackhawks games , since i BLEED BLUE Bayybeee

Blackhawks are finished. Nashville will be in Stanley Cup.
I would NOT go quite THAT far BUT their 15-1 "to win" future is an interesting speculation. the western "bracketology" is such that IF the Perds beat the Hawks and IF the Blues beat the Wild you could have two HOT teams vs each other next round

Hawks are literally the perfect example of a team with no depth.
Double digit scorers:
Preds - 12
Wild - 12
Caps - 11
Pens - 10
Rangers - 10
Habs - 10
Blues - 9
Leafs - 9
Hawks - 7
What else is there to say? Hawks top 6 is elite but their depth stinks. What happens when 2 players make 10.5M per.
Being deep doesn't mean having a bunch of double digit goal scorers. Guys like Kero and Schmaltz aren't built to be scorers, but there both still very effective, especially Kero.
Being deep is having the ability to roll 4 lines out all game (key being all game) and not get smacked around when your bottom 6 is on the ice. The Hawks usual bottom 6 was a combined +37 on the season and did a great job of killing penalties. Not to mention often matching up with opposing teams second lines to allow Kane/Panarin/Anisimov the ability to be run out against 3rd and 4th lines on home ice.
Are they the deepest team in the NHL? No. But I personally don't think they're miles off.

Toews centers Schmaltz & Panik, which was one of the best lines in the league in the 2nd half. Its great that you are so opinionated on a team whom you dont even know the line combinations of, Hartman only joined the Toews line in game 2.
Yes Hartman has 19, so 1 less goal, that is your argument now? Having 7 elite scores does matter, it shows offensive depth...
But overall team depth is not measured by "double digit" offensive production, Chicago is a complete team and there is a good reason they finished 1st in the West, that cant happen without it.
Your knowledge of the game is poor but then again you are a Leafs fan so it makes sense, they usually go hand in hand. Never seen a fanbase that loves to pretend to know the game of hockey more...when in reality, they just know their own team and even then the garbage that comes out of their mouth most often is biased gibberish.
