The Blues have limited the league-worst Avalanche to five goals in winning the past five meetings, including the two trips to Colorado earlier this month. - from Covers
Blues puck line seems like the play. They've beat Colorado by 4,3, and 2 goals this year. Am I missing something? Blues pl +120

I agree Boo, just have to look at if the Blues have anything to play for now. They won't catch the wild but they have the Flames tied pt wise with them.

I think all the Blues have to do in this game is hit everything that moves... Just the way the Kings played the Flames 2 days ago... I know the Kings had a reason, but it worked to perfection... Johnny Hockey and the rest stayed away from the middle of the ice the whole game... I hope Tzachuk ?(spelling) comes to Vegas...
Calgary wasn't playing hockey, they were running away...

If we could see the whole ice from a live perspective we could see how team force the other teams offens to only go a certain way, they want them to run into their buzz saw defense, that is why the scouting is so important. Teams that have outstanding scouting are able to work against these traits that other teams have, teams that are not as well suited in the scouting department, well they end up losing a lot more games. The league in general is pretty equal on any given night a team can beat another team barring the obvious human factors. Just thought I would chime in with my 2 cents, like Islanders last night, and the fact that right now they are a poorly coached and prepared team, nothing against Weight, but they are. They have lost more games in which they were favored or flat out needed to win, given the fact that they need to win and playing against teams that have nothing to lose or are playing the string out is another factor.

I like the Canucks tonight!! My book has their team total set at 1.5..too bad it is juiced at -200 Do the pens finally get back on track tonight in NY? Seems like everyone is on the flames here but I'm liking the sharks tonight. They are slowly putting it back together..had 40 shots on goal last night.

Sorry. I made a mistake..wrong team, wrong game.. For this I apologize... it was early. Calgary did look like CRAP though.... Like little girls actually...
Some of you guys don't like to hear anything bad about your team.. i know enough about sports to know when a team backs down and Calgary ( with the exception of 2 guys) backed down because they knew the Kings were going to protect Doughty... Johnny superstar made sure he stayed outside.. since when can he be contained like that.... Word is out.. hit Calgary and they back down..
Who knows.. Las Vegas Knights might win a cup before the two big Choke Teams in Washington and St.Louis...
Islanders are not that talented.. Calgary on the other hand is..
My point is that now twice in 2 days you've said maybe Tkachuk will get picked up by Vegas in the ex. draft when it is not possible since he is a rookie. Not to mention the Flames would protect him instantly if they had to.
Now you mention about the Flames backing down in the game a couple nights back. What about when Johnny hockey laid two good hits into Doughty in the first 8 minutes of the game, something he rarely does. Or when Backlund and Frolik stepped out of their comfort zone to get aggressive multiple times in and around the net whether it was before or after the whistle. The Flames didn't back down, the Kings just had a few bounces go their way and were sick of being bullied by the Flames every time they played them
