For the record, since December 8, 2007, the Sharks and Sabres have faced each other 10 times.
Sabres have won 9 of 10. Sabres have scored 3 or more goals in 7 of 10. Sharks have scored 2 or less goals in 6 of 10. If you bet $100 on the Sharks for each of those 10 games, you'd be down $1,692. If you bet $100 on the Sabres for each of those 10 games, you'd be up $1,522.
Talk about one team having another team's number, regardless of the personnel.

Haha. San Jose is starting to pick up a bit, and the Sabres are in full throttle. We don't have those lame ass Toronto and Montreal fans filling up the stands. Lol. Go Sabres.

I was going to bet on the Sabres too because they made mince meat out of Toronto after they beat the bruins easily, and Sabres have to start a winning streak someday somehow, so this looks very promising!

History is irrelevant if buffalo has a completely different roster.

I think the Sabres may present some value as a dog, but not because of the prior history of these two teams meeting up. San Jose is coming off a stretch of playing 15 of their last 20 games on the road, including their 7th straight road game tonight. 7 road games in 11 nights. It is a brutal schedule they have played. The team has to be looking forward to getting back home, and that has to be playing on their minds. They have not scored more than two goals in their last 5 games as well. I think if anything, the Sabres ML is worth a shot. I havnt bet them myself but I could certainly understand it.

With the crazy snow storm that is happening in Buffalo today, the Sabres are even more of a great value play. This game could still be cancelled, but if not, you can bet the Sharks just want to get the hell out of there. great situational spot for the Sabres today in many ways.

Ya I understand, the game is more interesting playing in front of 3,000 fairweather fans that won their tickets from a cereal box.

Okay...so this thread is from November 2014 but I thought I'd rehash it due to tonight's matchup. Here's an update on the stats...
Since December 8, 2007, the Sharks and Sabres have faced each other 13 times.
Sabres have won 11 of those 13 games. Sabres have scored 3 or more goals in 9 of the games. Sharks have scored 2 or less goals in 9 of the games. If you bet $100 on the Sharks for each of those 10 games, you'd be down $2,048. If you bet $100 on the Sabres for each of those 10 games, you'd be up $1,829.
