these are the younger players that I noticed really "stepped up" their game these playoffs >>>
Kings: Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson Rangers: Chris Kreider and Derick Brassard Blackhawks: Brandon Saad and Ben Smith Canadiens: Dustin Tokarski Ducks: Devante Smith-Pelly and "Johnny Goalie" Gibson Wild: Erik "Hualazz" Haula and Nino Niederreiter Penguins: Olli Maatta Bruins: Torey Krug Bluejackets: Boone Jenner Blues: Vlad Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz Flyers: Jason Akeson Avalanche: Nathan MacKinnon Stars: Cody Eakin Sharks: Tomas Hertl Red Wings: Tomas Tatar and Tomas Jurco Lightning: Kristers Gudlevskis
feel free to add any I may have missed. I know the Rangers "Brass" not really that "young" @ 26 BUT had never seen him play as well as he did in past seasons

I put the LA Kings Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson on top for a reason. would really have to have blinders on NOT to be impressed with BOTH playing on the "The 70's Line" with Jeff Carter. Toffoli tied with Dustin Brown @ 6th in Kings scoring during the playoffs with 7G-7A-14 Pts and Pearson tied for 8th with Jake Muzzin with 4G-8A- 12 Pts
will agree that the Ducks Devante Smith-Pelly was definately a "WOW, where has HE been?" during their playoff run as was "Johnny Goalie" ex for that Game 7 vs the Kings. guess I kind of expected Brandon Saad to show up. Ben Smith was definately THE bigger "suprise" for the Blackhawks

Granlund for Minny..Wild have loads of young talent
forgot about Ondrej Palat mostly because the Bugs got swept by the Habs BUT 2G & 1A in 3 games pretty impressive as was his regular season.
Mikael Granlund yet another of the Wild's "young guns" along with Haula and Niederreiter that should thrive in the future. I see nothing but upside for Mike Yoe's team
