Buffalo ML (-125) 1 Unit: Better goal tending and at home, ill take my chances on the low price here. I like how Miller is playing in the early going.
Sharks Reg Only (waiting on line)1 Unit: My team has looked very good in posting consecutive 4-1 wins to open the season. The Sharks are very good at home and will be coming off 2 days rest to play the Rangers on a b2b. The Rags looked good on Monday, but I think will be hard pressed to put forth that same kind of effort again. Going with regulation only to cut down on the price.
Flyers/Panthers O5.5 (-120) 1 Unit: First game following the firing of Peter L (not gonna try and spell his last name haha). I expect an inspired effort from the Flyers in this one. That being said I still think they have lots of question marks, which includes defensively and in goal. I see an open pace in this one with a 4-3 type of feel too it.
Canes/Pens O5.5 (-120) 1 Unit: Similar to last season, any Pens total that is 5.5 is almost worth firing every time. The Pens offense is capable of scoring in bunches and they are still suspect on defense and in net with Fleury, who u can usually count on for a softie or two. The Canes have some offensive weapons to try and keep up with the Pens and I am not sold on Cam Ward. Similar to the Pens/Panthers game, I think we will see an open paced game with both teams trading chances.
Coyotes/Islanders U5.5 (-125) 1 Unit: Despite the score, Mike Smith had a very good game 2 nights ago in San Jose. Which was proceeded by a strong season opener against the Rangers. In Saturday's contest, he allowed 3 goals in the first but it could have been more and he was even better as the game went on, he ended up turning aside 48 of 51 shots. The Coyotes know that won't be a recipe for success and I am sure worked on that a ton in practice leading up to this one. I expect a stronger defensive outing from Phoenix in this one, combined with a strong outing from Mike Smith. The Islanders are fresh off blowing a 2-0 third period lead (that cost me money lol) in losing the Blue Jackets 3-2. Nabby and company will definitely feel like they let one slip away. I expect a strong effort start to finish from them in this one. So I like a hard fought tight game with neither team wanting to get exposed defensively. Feels like a 2-1 type of game to me.
First big card since Saturday, so rolling with 5 plays tonight. Best of luck all
