#57 Posted: 7/2/2012 11:11:19 PM I dig the Garrison signing for Van, love that Salo is done, if we can get a solid top 6 two-way foward for Bobby Lou we should be in good shape next year, with fuckin Keslar out for the start of the season again it could be possible to suggest he might be injury prone for the rest of his career. |

#59 Posted: 7/3/2012 3:17:47 PM The Zach Parise Song
Done to the melody of "Take it Easy" by the Eagles. I don't have this much time on my hands, but this is pretty good.
Bein' King Shero,
Trying to loosen some dough, I got 7 skaters on my mind. 2 I wanna re-up 4 I gotta free up 1 says he’s a friend of Sid’s… Zach Parise, Zach Parise, Don’t let the sound of dollar signs make you crazy. Lock him up, while you still can. Don’t even worry ‘bout Louis Lam. Just find a place, take your stand, Zach Parise. Sending Z back to the corner of the state of Arizona Such fine cap space to see It’s TK, my lord But he hasn’t scored, and he won’t again in this city. Come on ZP, It’s so cold in the D I gotta know if your sweet goals are gonna save me We may lose, and we may win, But at least you won’t be with the Wings. So saddle up, he’s driving in Zach Parise.

nice raise from his $3.3 million with the Flyers last season. somewhat suprised he didn't re-sign with them BUT, even though he played well in Philly, I would think that $4.5 million is a bit "pricey" for a 40 years old guy. I will waqer he is NOT as effective in Dallas |

#63 Posted: 7/3/2012 10:26:23 PM Big shakeup in Dallas.. Curious to see how it pays off..
I agree Jagr isn't gonna be as effective - seems like a popularity signing.. |

#64 Posted: 7/3/2012 10:46:33 PM No Giroux in Philly and he clearly got worse as the season went on.
Jagr proves he is just after the money.
Someone tweeted that an ex-teamate from Pens said "that is Jagr, always was and is about money." Can't disagree.
I am not criticizing the deal on either side, just weird that he goes to Dallas when he said he was only interested in winning a few months ago.

Stars GM said Jagr's going to play with Benn and Eriksson. That leaves the second line of Whitney-Roy-Ryder. |

I thought he would stay in Philly also. But at 40 I guess he wants the cash grab. We all know he hasn't been the best with his money. |

Feel the same way LeRink - like Stevie sullivan and def a class player ,he is very good at carrying the puck into the zone , but we will move on , wish him the best as well.... |
