#177 Posted: 4/17/2012 1:00:14 AM Well this thread got interesting today, anyways what's being talked about on the radio today is Schneids getting a new deal and Lou getting shipped to Tampa this summer. |

#178 Posted: 4/17/2012 1:05:11 AM hell yeah, and a few other guys need to go-at the end of the day, mental mistakes, stupid mistakes-delays of the game, shorties, Daniel doesn't help with all that-your coach clearly can't get these guys ripght in the Spring, send them to a soft landing in Ottawa and take whatever you can get...all sports are different in the postseason-every second counts not like the 13th minute in Janaury in Dallas... |

#181 Posted: 4/17/2012 2:20:07 AM If you break it down why not? Who else can the bolts get either than no one, Lou's wife is from Florida and that's where he lives in the offseason. If this were to happen there wouldn't be much coming back in return. I don't think the Bolts have any bargaining chips to do anything else. |

#182 Posted: 4/17/2012 10:59:15 AM I wouldnt take anything you hear on the radio for truth until tampa bay actually signs him it's just fodder - and that decision likely will not be made for a little while. Also i'm sure tampas will have quite a few goaltenders to choose from this offseason just depends if they want a young guy or a guy whos been around the block a bit. |

#183 Posted: 4/17/2012 11:15:07 AM Of coarse it is, but to get something you have you have to give up something, TB's roster is thin. A # of other teams will be looking for goaltending help as well. |

Thats why i can't see it being tampa who would vancouver take for Luongo. Tampa sold at the trade deadline and plans to buy in the offseason, but theres only so much you can buy |

#187 Posted: 4/17/2012 3:18:01 PM I noticed the nucks lost all 3 games in the 3rd period. All 3 losses were close unlike the Pitts series where theyre getting it handed to them. I can see Van coming back in this series if they play a little smarter. Goaltending has been very good, just the offence has to pick it up a little. If the sardines can beat the Kings, the Canucks can too |

#189 Posted: 4/17/2012 5:53:59 PM Luongo is going to Toronto but Tampa is also a possibility. Nucks game isn't till tomorrow and Daniel will play. I guarantee this series goes 6 at least. |

#190 Posted: 4/17/2012 6:18:10 PM I was told at the beginning of this thread to stay out if not a Canucks fan, and I listened until now. I would just like to say that I have had a friggin blast with this thread!! The Kings were the team nobody wanted to play in the 1st round, and now you all see why. Most of thier games were lost in the shootout after overtime, and their is no shootout in the playoffs, so I rolled with these two plays after this paragraph a few weeks back, once I saw them putting things together after the Carter trade. Keep in mind that the kings are down to +200 to win the Western Conference and +450 to win the Cup. That is a huge drop from where I grabbed this play, because the books know that this team is for real!!

#192 Posted: 4/17/2012 6:38:29 PM Not trying to rub it in either....I just saw a team that was coming together with an awesome goalie at 20 to 1 odds. |

#196 Posted: 4/18/2012 9:30:59 AM this series was over when L.A. took both game's in vancouver because there have been only 15 or 16 team's in 70 year's that came back losing the first 2 game's at home and coming back to win so the odd's are not good just like pitt when they lost 2 game's at home that's it your all done time to go fishing |

#198 Posted: 4/18/2012 3:38:32 PM Would not shock me to see the Canucks comeback and win 4 straight.
I look at this series like Chi vs Van last year, Bolland comes back in game 4 and give the hawks a spark and they win 3 straight.
Daniel Sedin if healthy is gonna have a huge impact on this series. Our lines are some much better when we can slot in both Sedins on the top line.
Canucks have carried the play the last 2 games as well. I'm surprisingly calm, even though the team is on the verge of an embarrassing 1st round exit.

#200 Posted: 4/18/2012 4:41:34 PM Are most Canucks fans in agreement that Luongo must go? Here's a link you might find interesting: http://blogs.canada.com/2012/04/18/is-it-time-for-someone-toronto-maple-leafs-to-trade-for-roberto-luongo/
I thought the time to trade him was after last year; an opportunity missed. You've got to demand value back for him don't you? Whatever you think of Lou he would sure be an upgrade for a lot of teams.
