Does anyone have one for hockey? Don't know if this is stupid to ask... Saw one and was wondering what you people think...
If a team is on a winning streak (3 games in a row or more) you bet them to win till they lose. Also the other way around, if a team has lost 3 in row you bet them to lose each game till they win.. This strategy any good? Thanks boys

think that runs "hot-cold". seen similar for MLB and it always seems to bite me. best success I have had over the last 20 years is looking for "big dogs" you think have a half decent chance to win AND looking for top teams when they are on the road against lower tier teams when they are even or a low minus fav. some of the line makers STILL think the NHL is "NBA on Ice" and WAY overrate "home ice advantage"
remember that moneyline favs are only about a 55% winner over the course of a regular season and NEVER, EVER lay high moneyline minus money no matter HOW much that fav looks like a "lock", they will LOSE often enough to BUST YOU

I couldnt agree more. There is a ton of value in dogs. Another strategy Ive noticed is betting under on all totals set a 5. Apparently someone had documented it and it hit at like 71% last year. For me personally, I have a computer system that is very good with totals so I bet alternate totals. A game set at 5.5 I will bet over 6 for like +160 or whatever. It killed last year. GL to all this year

What worked for me last season was to only bet on the underdog. Home or Away makes very little difference. You do need to be selective in which underdogs you take (don't take every game), but overall I won slightly less than 50% of my games and came out far ahead. I guess my basic rule would have been if 2 teams are essentially equal and one team is favored only because they are home, then take the away team.

Thanks for all the info ^ I was going to do this also but more so for the the first half of the season. Then adjust from there but you said the whole season. I'll see how that goes
