#4 Posted: 10/16/2009 11:26:03 PM luongo will definitely start tomorrow. raycroft started the third period tonight.
tim thomas will probably go b2b as well, didnt face much work tonight and hes well rested after rask got b2b starts before tonight. |

#5 Posted: 10/16/2009 11:31:06 PM I'd guess Brodeur gets the night off. Carolina looks decent at +123. LA/CLB Under 5.5 looks pretty good too if Mason gets the nod for Columbus.
Thanks as always Weebs for the early info. |

Agreed on both.
I will update those situations when goaliepost has something on them.

#7 Posted: 10/16/2009 11:33:09 PM i doubt brodeur gets the night off, its marty brodeur for christs sake and their playing vs the team that knocked them out last year. at home im guessing the fans would be mighty upset if brodeur didnt show up against a team they want to beat desperately. |

Pretty sure that Lemaire said Brodeur would only play one game this weekend. Maybe losing this game will change that |

I read somewhere that they expect Brodeur to play two in a row since they have only played 5 games this season. It's only early and Brodeur won't need rest yet.
With this loss tonight, I expect Brodeur will def get the start because he let in 4 goals and he wants to win his first game at home this year. He's pissed lol |

Lemaire said he hasn't decided which goalie will start Saturday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.
"Haven't talked about it yet," he said.

#13 Posted: 10/17/2009 10:16:42 AM OBSERVATION: GOALIEPOST GOING "PAY" HAS CREATED AN EVEN GREATER NEED FOR A THREAD WE SHOULD HAVE HAD IN THE PAST ANYWAY... ITS REALLY GOOD TO HEAR SO MUCH DISCUSSION OF THE RELATIVE MERITS OF THE VARIOUS GOALIES GETTING THE CALL FOR THEIR TEAMS LONG BEFORE THEY ARE MADE OFFICIAL. THANKS AGAIN WEEBS/LIPPS FOR GETTING THIS BABY STARTED - IT HAS TAKEN ON A LIFE OF ITS OWN AND IS VERY USEFUL
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS |

Not fast enough. They still have Miller listed.

#25 Posted: 10/17/2009 12:35:42 PM At any rate, my reasoning behind doing this daily thread was that we all relied heavily on goaliepost last year. Seems that there are enough sites out there that people don't need their info anymore. So I guess we really don't need the thread.
