Gortat is listed as out. Nene questionable as well as Gooden and Humphries. So basically if anyone of the last 3 listed are going to play, they will have to play an entire "small ball" type of game. Hollins and Dudley are the last "big" left on their roster. Even though there is still hope that either Nene, Gooden or Humphries play, its really unlikely as both Nene and Gooden didnt get through shoot around (certainly by precaution).
I saw some well respected on Wash . I can understand it as it going to be a back court battle and at this game i would take Beal/wall over Bledsoe/Knight. But Len and co should have a field day .

Going big on Phoenix. They are too hungry for a road win. I dont know why i would trust a depleted team against a team which is in a middle of a long road trip. Like this kind of spot.

chandler is out for suns as well tho and I don't think suns got bigs to take advantage of Washington missing all their bigs but im not sure about this game either way GL

Alex Len is more than an adequate replacement for Chandler.

Yeah guys Alex Len is adequate, thats why he is a bench player for a sub 500 team. Chandler can't score and Phonix plays no defense. Wonder why he is starting? If the suns guards miss enough shots then maybe they will get some garbage points in the paint.

Answer: They signed a bigger paycheck in Chandler. Some argue this was a suspect signing; giving up on their high pick Len. Big men take time to grow. Take D-Leagure now starter Hasaan Whiteside as an example. In the five games, Alex Len has played more than 20 minutes, he's average 11 ppg, 57 percent fg%, 7.8 rebound in 26 minutes. He's an improving 7 footer, who, if her can avoid major injuries, will be a starting center in the future. We'll see. Maybe Washington blows the suns doors off with Ryan Hollins and Jared Dudley sharing the 5 spot.

of course len gets ll ppg nobody else plays in the middle, the rest of the guys are on the outside shooting j's. he should get over 7 rebounds because the defense has to be out further covering the jump shooters. i just think he is putting up decent numbers with what is now a very mediocre team

stevenp all that back and forth brother and alex len didnt even start
It was a nice back and forth. Actually, Len did start. Whenever he was in the game I was crossing my fingers he'd back my point. Oddly, he was +6 in the game. He had six points and four rebounds. But Hornecek went smaller than small, allowing Washington to play with all their bigs out. It was poor coaching in my opinion. But I enjoyed the discussion. It made me look closer at Alex Len. Hope to debate more in the future.
