LAC beats Spurs in Gm 7 by 2 at home. This series was the real
NBA finals 2015.
Gm1 = Hou favored by -8 and 65% public on Houston! Come on
they just beat SPURS!, LAC wins by 16.
Gm2 = Hou favored by 8. They have to win one at home. Hou
wins but doesn’t cover, and NEVER be line favored again in this series.
Gm3 = Clips favored at home by 6.5, easy win by 25 and cover.
Gm4 = Clips favored at home by 6.5, easy win by 33 and
cover. Hou DIDN’T look like they want to even play basketball anymore. NO HEART
in the game.
Gm5 = Clips favored
on ROAD by 3, Lose by 21. Hou had to again win one, right?
Gm6 = Clips favored at home by 8.5 (last 2 lines with 8
failed to cover for the favorite), Hou shocks and wins by 12 on road.
Here we are. From game one when Clips were dog
by 8 in first two games AFTER beating Spurs, and league convinced us Rockets
are a bunch of softies deserving a crushing defeat. Clips are again a Road
favorite (Already lost one at -3 Road line).

-Hou has quietly taken last 2 games straight and
not getting any credit or not much anyway
-Round 2 – LAC has lost last 2. All 3 teams
wiz/mem/bulls went out as L3 (3 lost in a row)
-Round 2 – All 3 teams that are out had started
great winning first game on Road (mem won the 2nd game on road), BUT
lost last 3. Competition improved along the series?
-Round 2 – All 3 other Gm1 Road teams are already
out.
-Hou has not lost a home game in this series
since the first game and has not lost a game in series as a dog. They are a
home dog today.

-1H line -1.5 = has been used 8 times before in playoffs
2015 and has been covered only twice; Clips at home, and Cavs on Road. BOTH
times full game line did not cover.
-1H has been covered by favorite only twice out
of 6 games in this series, both by Clips at home with public against them.

times in this playoff and has failed to cover every single time.

LOL..like reading tea leaves...lotsa games to play..but helps to come at it from different perspective...even if just to get away from all the number crunching..which none of us can do better than vegas oddsmakers. NBA runs this..owners and players do this for money and fame...How would the puppeteers benefit?
I like to think in terms of what would give NBA/TNT/fans most drama and highest rating.
Was kind of obvious Mem would lose being smallest TV market for NBA. Also LAC are not even loved in LA.. LA loves Lakers and have treated LAC as ugly step child forever. Can you imagine the loss of viewership if LAC and GSW would play for West title, leaving rest of the country to switch to baseball. Try getting the rating and viewers back for finals after that lol.
So 4 teams, one southeast (ATL), one northeast/midwest (CAV) and 2 southwest with one each from the MOST populated and Biggest states with highest TV viewership. That's a good spread for this round.
So how do you keep this drama/rating going? would ATL/GSW final compare to ATL/HOU? or GSW/CAV be better a better story than HOU/CAV?
Imho, GSW has a good story.. great young coach..no real known superstars ..like harden....but now in post season sporting the mvp..high scoring fast shooting...3 point hitting....EXCITING...lotta energy.. high TV rating...people can get behind them.
In East you have LBJ, who is the part coach, part player/mentor, daddy-bear with his cubs and lotta heart and dreams. Its a good story and has a hero to root for, but still considered underdogs to GSW...people like underdogs with heart to fight till the end.
ATL, my hometown team...sadly lacks excitement...energy..heroes..that rest of the country can get behind or will watch.
HOU lacks a story that compares to GSW/CAV, but they have created a buzz by beating the Clips, who got the buzz by beating Spurs. Is this enough for HOU? Compared to GSW I don't feel it.
Still just another way of looking at it. We will see when rubber meets the road. GSW/CAV would be exciting for sure.

Looks like GSW ML for gm1 is -535 atm, even after Hou beat LAC by double digits, GSW favored at hm by 10
And Cavs at comparatively cheap and short juice of -210 atm. If you like ATL for the series, take now before they win the opener at home. If you like CAVS for series, wait till after Gm1 for adjusted series price...I think.
Without any in-depth look my best guess is ATL takes Gm1 and covers -1, and Cavs win Gm2. GSW takes Gm1 and cover -10. Lot of work to do before putting any money.

JBecks12, I had NYR ML and U4.5 too when I bet this morning. Highly disappointing play by them today. Didn't line up with the numbers I used to come up with my bets too
