Although LBJ is better than Kyrie as a team leader and controlling the tempo and ebb and flow of the game......LBJ must change and allow Kyrie to be the CLOSER.
"There are 5 ways to control and dominate a game and if a player excels in one of these categories he is a very god player - if he excels in multiple categories he is a superstar." (Kenny Smith-TNT)
1. Scoring
2, Rebounds
3. Assists
4. Leadership
5. Tempo
We all can see how important leadership and tempo is by just seeing what Conley provides Memphis....when he is on vs. off the floor.
Which gets me to LBJ....LBJ can impact the game in all categories...so yes he is the MAN
But he has to give the ball to Kyrie when the game gets tight at critical spots because Kyrie is a SPECIAL.....VERY SPECIAL...scorer....he just gets buckets ...from 3.3...3....THREE
from the mid range...in the paint (floaters).....and can finish at the rim...........alllah......CLOSER.
He is THAT GUY.......that guy that hits the 3....when you are up 3 to go up 6.......THAT GUY to hit the 3 to put you up 6.....basically THAT GUY....that at critical points of the game - makes the opposing coach call a timeout...and he is THAT GUY...that can and will hit a game winner.
So while LBJ should control the flow of the game (leadership and tempo).....and still be LBJ...he must recognize that Kyrie should be the CLOSER.
(kind of like the late 1980s pistons ....they had Isiah Thomas...but Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson was one of their "closers" and was used to do just that)
Soon as he and Blatt realize that - (I feel Kyrie probably already knows this and is ready)....but LBJ must GIVE kyrie the rock in those spots......then to me, the CAVS could get pass the EAST even without Kevin Love.

LBJ 29 shot attempts today worked today....not sure if that's the formula to work EVERY game.
Kyrie has to get more than 9 FGA
Kyrie was 5 for 9 and had 21 points
We all realize this is Kyrie's 1st postseason ---- but he does not look like a deer in headlights to me.
It's okay LBJ....you still the man - but Kyrie is also a beast that must be unleashed too.........he should be the closer....when the game gets tight in Chicago and in future series should the cavs advance in this in future post-seasons.

On the road might be where Kyrie starts confusing everyone that he is the best player on Cavs.......He is capable of lighting the Bulls up for 50...the same way he lit the spurs up.

I agree kyrie is a baller however people continue to mistake that LeBron can't finish out games. he has the second highest shooting percentage in playoff history in the last 2 minutes of a game decided by 5 points or less only telling Michael Jordan. you can google the article somebody took the time to compile all the stats and that was of 2013 and you know LeBron is only gotten better in the playoffs since. his shot almost 60 percent the whole entire playoffs last season

Kyrie is more likely to force a bad shot LeBron always makes whatever the best basketball play is at the end of the game whether it be him shooting or a teammate open in the corner or whatever

LBJ needs to still contol the flow....be the leader and control the tempo
But Kyrie ability to
a) hit the 3 (former 3 point shooting champ)
b) penetrate and stop and pop (has a mid range game; and
c) get all the way to the rim and finish with either hand over centers (everybody and anybody)
I think is worth taking that chance....at LBJ's call.
Problem is ....LBJ listens to the media (even though he says he doesn't) and feels that he HAS TO take the shots.....when Kyrie is a better "true" shooter....if that's a word.
I felt the same way about D Wade.....they can get through the traffic...split double teams....a little easier..simply becuase of their body.....LBJ gets a few more charges.....bully ball is predictable....nooone knows where Kyrie will pull up and strike.
LBJ is and will be still the best player.....but kyrie has to be the co-mvp from a scoring standpoint....and confuse folks....for cavs to go that next level.....9 field goal attempts for irving and 29 attempts for lbj in game 2 hopefully will not be the norm

He has high percentage in the 4th quarter cause he passes it to players like:
Ray Allen Irving that gang member (JR SMITH) etc.
to bail him out...he knows his jumpshot is a joke so he will rarely shoot...
not really hard to have a high percentage when u mostly play inside...
get off this guys nuts. the refs tried to bail him out today too and got burned.
I don't think LBJ is overrated in the 4th qtr....or a clutz..or is brick city....I just think Kyrie can get to spots easier and has a better handle and is a better free throw shooter..........LBJ can be a James Worthy...Scottie Pippen....mode and give kyie the ball in those key moments......a little more finesse/skill..and a little less "bully ball"......

Predictably....LBJ apologized .."put this on me" he said
appears kyrie had an ankle injury....but if he is on his game in game 4.....it's ok lbj........get kyrie the ball a little more....if kyrie can't be effective b/c of the ankle...then the series is over anyway
