I know this makes me really weird (amongst other things), but trade deadline day is my favorite day of the NBA year, tied with opening day and the first day of the playoffs. I just love the intricacies of the smaller trades and what value it creates going forward for those that cap NBA games. And of course, once in a while, some blockbuster deals occur which are always fun, but are a rarity on actual deadline day. I think we have already seen the largest name move which is Rondo, but guys like Isiah Thomas, Dragic, David West, Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried, Jamal Crawford, Aaron Afflalo & Joe Johnson are all guys in the mix that could have capping implications going forward. I just can't wait to see what happens and hope it is not a quiet day and instead, with so many teams vying for a championship now that the 3 amigos & Allen are no longer, Gm's will be very active today. That's my bet. Mak is giddy with excitement. I will be providing my annual report card of the NBA trades during the Mavs@Thunder game. Got one wager today, hitting it up early in case of any line movement as I do not see the line moving against the Champs, rather the other way. As always gents, I wish you the best of luck with your wagers, will be back early evening to provide analysis on the Spus@Clipps game, reply to posts and also looking forward to providing my insight and report card on the transactions today. Peace out - - - MAK
